  • Patent number: 11032489
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for camera normalization. Images may be normalized after they are captured to conform to previously captured images. Images may also be preemptively adjusted (prior to capture) to conform to previously captured images.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 7, 2018
Date of Patent: June 8, 2021
    Assignee: CERNER INNOVATION, INC.

  • Patent number: 8554480
Abstract: A patient treatment management system involves a repository including treatment information for a particular patient identifying treatment objectives and an associated schedule for achievement of the objectives. An interface processor acquires data representing clinical information of a particular patient related to a particular treatment objective. A monitoring processor assesses from the acquired clinical information whether the particular treatment objective is achieved substantially by a scheduled time deadline. A task scheduling processor automatically initiates scheduling of a first sequence of tasks to be performed by a healthcare worker in response to a determination the treatment objective is achieved and initiates scheduling of a different second sequence of tasks to be performed by a healthcare worker in response to a determination the treatment objective is not achieved.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 17, 2004
Date of Patent: October 8, 2013
Assignee: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.

  • Patent number: 8392232
Abstract: A system determines patient acuity information to identify required staff competencies to meet a workload and supports role based reporting, notification, and escalation when acuity nears or reaches a predetermined saturation threshold. A system predicts healthcare worker workload using an acquisition processor to acquire multiple data items associated with care requirements of a particular patient from multiple different sources. A data processor determines an acuity score of the particular patient by determining a single score comprising a combination of weighted individual score values derived from corresponding individual items of the multiple data items. A translation processor interprets determined acuity score to provide an estimated healthcare worker workload for meeting the care requirements of the particular patient by using predetermined translation data associating acuity score with corresponding healthcare worker workload.

  • Publication number: 20070156456
Abstract: A system provides comprehensive patient and resource status information (manpower and equipment required to maintain optimal patient care) in an organization (e.g., a hospital) for use in adjusting resources to meet existing and future conditions. A system for monitoring activity in a healthcare enterprise includes an acquisition interface for acquiring acuity data representative of severity of medical condition of an individual patient, for multiple different patients. A monitoring processor monitors data identifying orders initiated for treatment to be provided to an individual patient and data identifying laboratory test results received for an individual patient, for multiple different patients. A data processor generates data representing status of healthcare activity for multiple patients in response to the data identifying orders and laboratory test results and the acuity data, for multiple different patients.
