  • Publication number: 20120067954
Abstract: A content tagging and management capability is provided for enabling automatic tagging of content and management of tagged content. A sensor is configured for supporting automatic content tagging of content captured by a content capture device. The sensor may be configured for storing object data associated with an object, where at least a portion of the object data is stored securely, and communicating at least a portion of the object data toward the content capture device contemporaneous with a content capture operation by the content capture device. A sensor scanner is configured for supporting automatic content tagging of content where a sensor is used in conjunction with a content capture device. The sensor scanner may include a processor configured for storing object data associated with an object having a sensor associated therewith, and initiating propagation of the object data toward the sensor for storage by the sensor when permission to interface with the sensor is verified.

  • Publication number: 20050182826
Abstract: A method and apparatus for data communications over a wireless network. A user contacts an Internet gateway over the wireless network. When the user requests an Internet resource it sends an improved HTTP command to the gateway. The improved HTTP command causes the internet gateway to access a resource file and obtain not only the requested resource, but also all of the resources embedded in the requested resource. The requested resource and embedded resources are bundled into a file and sent to the user. By eliminating parsing of the requested resource by the user and subsequent requests for embedded information, the wireless network does not have to make multiple supplemental communication channel assignments, which improves overall performance.

  • Publication number: 20030217125
Abstract: A method of providing network intelligence between an intelligent end-user gateway (IEUG) device and a plurality of intelligent network layers. The method includes generating an end-user diary including goals, goal-related plans, and tasks to fulfill the plans. The end-user diary is sent to at least one of the plurality of intelligent network layers, where the at least one of the plurality of intelligent network layers update a user profile from the end-user diary and send goal related information to the IEUG device. The IEUG performs the tasks and plans to fulfill the goals based on the goal related information.
