Abstract: An apparatus may include a housing defining a compartment, wherein the housing is configured to accept at least one item within the compartment. The apparatus may also include a member coupled with the housing, wherein the member defines a container, wherein the member is configured to provide access to the compartment in a first state, and wherein the member is further configured to restrict access to the compartment in a second state. The apparatus may further include an electronic lock disposed at least partially within the container, wherein the electronic lock is configured to limit relative movement between the member and the housing in the second state. The apparatus may also include an interface routed between the compartment and the container, wherein the interface is configured to allow control of the electronic lock.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a re-usable internet based locking device that uses electronic keys (either single or a combination to be distributed to multiple parties) for opening and closing the locking device. It enables the institutions to offer highly secure, vault-grade locking device to their user in public places. These kiosks have security and surveillance levels that match bank ATMs. In addition, an optional visual tracking system allows the users to view the contents of their locking device, thus providing additional comfort regarding safety of their valuables in the locking device. A peripheral surveillance system with internal power backup and wireless internet connectivity is provided for alerting the central monitoring station if any distress is found in and around the kiosk.

Abstract: A system for integrating and interoperating multiple heterogeneous applications, the system comprising: an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to enable human users to define the integration and interoperation points of the multiple applications; a configuration file format based on which the IDE generates specific configuration instances; and a runtime engine that understands configuration files adhering to the file format and performs the necessary integration and interoperation actions on the various constituent applications that have been referred to in the configuration file.

Abstract: Purchases from a wireless device are facilitated by detecting, at a proxy (14), that a wireless device is attempting to access a form from a merchant server (18). The form is automatically filled at the proxy and delivered to the wireless device together with a hyperlink to a file stored on a wallet server (17). Upon receipt at the wallet server of an instruction from the wireless device, information is delivered to the merchant server to complete a transaction. Also, a wireless device (10) is provided having a browser for sending, to an Internet connected gateway, a request to access a form from a merchant server (18). Upon receipt from a proxy, the wireless device receives, stores and presents to a user a representation of the form pre-filled with data relating to the user, together with a hyperlink to a file and an indication that activation of the hyperlink will complete a transaction.
