Abstract: A method for elevator passenger detection including: capturing an image of an elevator passenger approaching an elevator bank to board an elevator car; determining that the elevator passenger is pregnant or disabled in response to the image of the elevator passenger; registering a priority elevator call for the elevator passenger that is pregnant or disabled; and moving the elevator car to the floor landing where the elevator passenger that is pregnant or disabled is located.

Abstract: Disclosed is an elevator system in a building, the elevator system including a first elevator car for transporting a passenger between a plurality of building levels, the system including a controller that controls the elevator car, the controller: rendering a first determination that the passenger has requested elevator service from the first lobby, rendering a second determination to assign the elevator car to provide service to the passenger at a first lobby for the first level, effecting a first transmission to the elevator car to effect the second determination, rendering a third determination that the first lobby becomes unoccupied in a time period between effecting the first transmission and the elevator arriving at the first lobby for servicing the first passenger, rendering a fourth determination to release the elevator car from effecting the second determination, and effecting a second transmission to the elevator car to effect the fourth determination.

Abstract: A processor-implemented method for pushing a revision to an automated passenger conveying subsystem is provided. The processor-implemented method receives the revision over a network to make the revision available to one or more subsystems. An application executed on a processor of the network, then, receives a selection input identifying the automated passenger conveying subsystem of the one or more subsystems. In turn, the application sends a message to the automated passenger conveying subsystem based on the selection input. The message identifies that the revision is available for downloading and deployment. An exchange operation is executed to push the revision to the automated passenger conveying subsystem.
