The slot priority rating is assigned to each slot whereas the product priority rating is assigned to each product of a plurality of products to be placed in the plurality of slots present in the warehouse. A metadata retrieving module for retrieving metadata from a tag associated to a product of the plurality of products. In one aspect, the metadata indicates the product priority rating being assigned to the product. A slot determination module for determining a slot from the plurality of slots in order to place the product. A slot allocation module for allocating the slot, as determined, for placing the product thereby facilitating the optimization of space in the warehouse.

The method may further comprise scheduling the ULD for loading the set of goods based on the goods data and tracking a current location of the set of goods based on the ULD data.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for facilitating optimization of space in a warehouse. A data capturing module captures dimension data associated to zero or more objects present in a pallet of a plurality of pallets of a pallet rack present in a warehouse. A surface space computation module computes empty surface space in the pallet based on the dimension data and a predefined pallet dimension data associated with the pallet. The surface space computation module further determines whether the empty surface space, in the pallet, is greater or less than a predefined threshold value. A data transmission module transmits data to an external system communicatively coupled with the IoT device, the data indicating the empty surface space, in the pallet, being greater or less than the predefined threshold value thereby facilitating a user to optimize the space in the pallet of the pallet rack present in the warehouse.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a system for real-time tracking of status associated with shipment of a plurality of consignments. An input file upload module uploads an input file comprising details of one or more parameters associated to each of a plurality of consignments. An address determining module determines an address of a carrier website corresponding to each of the plurality of consignments. The address may be determined based on a prefix number concatenated with the unique identification number. A communication module communicates, in real-time with the carrier website via the address in order to extract shipment status of each of the plurality of consignments. A collating module collates the shipment status corresponding to each of the plurality of consignments. A display module displays the shipment status collated in a pre-defined format to a user thereby facilitating the real-time tracking of status associated with shipment of the plurality of consignments.
