  • Publication number: 20220339376
Abstract: A system is disclosed that includes a breathing apparatus, a display unit and a processing unit that is operatively connected to the display unit. The processing unit is configured to provide a graphical visualization on the display unit. The graphical visualization in turn includes a combination of a target indication for at least one ventilation related parameter of a ventilation strategy for a patient ventilated by the apparatus, and a reciprocating animation of the at least one ventilation related parameter relative the target indication. The target indication is for instance based on input of a user, such as an operator of the breathing apparatus. Alternatively, or in addition, it may be a default value stored on a memory unit being operatively connected to the processing unit. Alternatively, or in addition, the target indication is based on a measurement value of said patient's physiology or anatomy.

  • Patent number: 10845973
Abstract: A breathing apparatus has one or more electronic processors and a touch screen communicatively coupled to at least one of the processors. The processor is configured to provide a user interface on the touch screen for modification of at least one operational parameter of the breathing apparatus. The user interface includes at least two touch sensitive display areas on the display area of the touch screen for modification of the operational parameter by an operator of the breathing apparatus. Each of the two touch sensitive display areas is dedicated for different types of user interaction, i.e. different user interaction modes are provided for by each of the two different display areas.

  • Publication number: 20190227685
Abstract: A breathing apparatus system include a breathing apparatus having a display, an internal memory unit, and a processing unit, and optionally an interface for connecting at least an external memory unit to the apparatus; optionally an external memory unit connectable to the breathing apparatus via the interface; wherein the processing unit is in operative communication with the display, the internal memory unit, and/or the external memory unit when connected to the apparatus via the interface, and the processing unit is configured to provide on at least a portion of the display, a user selectable background stored on at least one of the internal and/or external memory unit, such as a background image, or a background color different than a factory default background color that is not selectable by a user.
