Abstract: A connectivity module of a vehicle includes Bluetooth and ultra-wideband radios. A processor operatively connected to the Bluetooth radio and the ultra-wideband radio operates the connectivity module in an anchor mode or a tag mode based at least in part upon a proximity of the vehicle to a movable barrier operator. When in the anchor mode the connectivity module is configured to initiate communication between a user device and both the Bluetooth radio and the ultra-wideband radio. When in the tag mode, the connectivity module is configured to respond to the movable barrier operator initiating communication between the movable barrier operator and both the Bluetooth radio and the ultra-wideband radio.

Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a movable barrier operator. The system is configured to perform operations that include identifying a plurality of zones relative to a structure. The system may also be configured to perform operations that include obtaining information associated with a location of a vehicle relative to the plurality of zones as a function of a spatial relationship between a first wireless communication accessory and a second wireless communication accessory. The system is additionally configured to perform operations that include determining a control instruction to control a state of the movable barrier operator in response to the location of the vehicle relative to at least one zone of the plurality of zones. The system is configured to perform operations that include causing communication of the control instruction to the movable barrier operator to control the state of the movable barrier operator.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling operation of a garage door operator of a garage. The method includes tracking a travel distance of a vehicle from a parked location within a geo-fenced area that includes the garage toward a second location, determining a travel direction of the vehicle relative to a garage reference point of the garage and the parked location of the vehicle, and disabling an automatic close operation of the garage door operator based at least in part upon the travel direction being determined to be toward the garage reference point. The method further includes facilitating the automatic close operation based at least in part upon the travel direction not being toward the garage reference point and the travel distance satisfying a travel distance requirement.
