  • Publication number: 20100288502
Abstract: The present invention regards a device designed for injection of fluids in a well bore, typically an offshore well bore for petroleum production and gas injection/gas lift system for fluid injection. The device comprises a outer hollow housing (1) with an internal body (3) moveable within the outer housing (1) which in a first closed position is closed with a metal to metal seal system between the outer housing (1) and the internal body (3), which internal body (3) is operated by pressure differential across the internal body (3). The internal movable body (3) is connected to the outer hollow housing (1) by means of a retainer key (6). The retainer key (6) comprises a shear arrangement and is arranged to keep the valve in a fixed closed position, where fluid pressure is to overcome the pretension of the retainer key (6) in order to open the device. When the device is shear opened, it can be kept in this open position as the retainer key (6) is locked to the outer hollow housing (1).

  • Publication number: 20100059222
Abstract: The present invention relates to device for increasing the production flow in a production tubing, comprising at least one inlet for adding a fluid medium and means to provide the added fluid at an angle ? between 90 and zero degrees with a longitudinal axis of the tubing. This effect is further enhanced by means for rotating the added fluid medium. A method for increasing the production flow in a production tubing is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention regards a device designed for injection of fluids in a well bore, typically an offshore well bore for petroleum production and gas injection/gas lift system for fluid injection. The device comprises a outer hollow housing (1) with an internal body (2) moveable within the outer housing (1) with an internal bore (3) which in a first closed position is closed with a metal to metal seal system between the outer housing (1) and the internal body (2), which internal body (2) is operated by pressure differential across the internal body (2), where the internal body (2) is designed with slots (4) forming outlets of the internal bore (3) which in an open position of the device is positioned outside of the outer housing (1).

  • Patent number: 7147788
Abstract: A separation method and apparatus are disclosed having particular application for effecting removal of sand from a production wellstream, enhancing the quality of recovered oil, gas and water output streams (12, 13, 14) and reducing erosion caused by entrained sand. The wellstream is passed initially through a cyclone separator (4?) which separates substantially all the water and sand as underflow and substantially all the oil and gas as overflow. A gravity separator (11) separates the overflow from the cyclone separator (4?) into oil, gas and water, and a further cyclone separator (17) separates the underflow from the first cyclone separator (4?) into water and sand.

The wellstream is passed initially through a cyclone separator (4′) which separates substantially all the water and sand as underflow and substantially all the oil and gas as overflow. A gravity separator (11) separates the overflow from the cyclone separator (4′) into oil, gas and water, and a further cyclone separator (17) separates the underflow from the first cyclone separator (4′) into water and sand.
