  • Patent number: 6962231
Abstract: A steering handle of a pallet truck is arranged over a battery box on the truck. The steering handle is journaled so that it is in a turnable relation to an arm about a journaling point. The arm is journaled so that it is pivotable around a second pivot point. By pivoting the arm laterally a position may be achieved where the handle is easily accessible from the side of the truck. The steering handle is pivotably arranged in the outer end of the arm in a pivot bearing that in turn is pivotable in the arm and parallel controlled in relation to the truck. Between the steering handle and the journal for the pivot movement detection means are arranged to detect the mutual turning that is then used to electronically/electrically turn the steered wheel of the truck.

  • Publication number: 20050231833
Abstract: A passive optical component directs first electromagnetic radiation incident on the component in a first direction and second electromagnetic radiation incident on the component in a second direction to a mutual direction. The optical component comprises an interacting surface which is arranged to interact with said first and second electromagnetic radiation. The interacting surface comprises first portions, each having a surface extending in a third direction, which is essentially perpendicular to the mutual direction, and second portions, each having a surface extending in a fourth direction. The optical component reflects essentially all the first electromagnetic radiation and transmits at least a significant portion of the second electromagnetic radiation for directing the first and the second electromagnetic radiation to a mutual direction. An optical system and a method using the passive optical component are also shown.

  • Patent number: 6820833
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a yarn processing system comprising a textile machine, a yarn feed device and a supply spool. According to the inventive method, the yarn feed device pulls the yarn from the supply spool with varying speed and forms and maintains a yarn intermediate store. In addition, a rotatable supply spool (B) is turned at least by the yarn tension elicited by the winding drive (4) of the yarn feed device (F), and the yarn (Y) is tangentially removed from the supply spool (B).

  • Patent number: 6807621
Abstract: A pipelined microprocessor for processing instructions includes at least one pipeline. The pipeline includes and instruction fetching functional stage, an instruction decoding functional stage, an execution functional stage comprising a number of execution units and a commit functional stage. The commit functional stage includes or is associated with a reorder buffer. Detecting means are provided for detecting instruction irregularities. When an instruction irregularity is detected, an irregularity indication and a flush instruction are generated. The irregularity indication is used to initiate a flush made whereas the flush instruction, when received in a stage or unit set in flush mode, resets the flush mode in said stage/unit.

  • Patent number: 6714961
Abstract: The invention is directed toward a multiprocessing system having multiple processing units. For at least one of the processing units in the multiprocessing system, a first job signal is assigned to the processing unit for speculative execution of a corresponding first job, and a further job signal is assigned to the processing unit for speculative execution of a corresponding further job. The speculative execution of said further job is initiated when the processing unit has completed execution of the first job. If desirable, even more job signals may be assigned to the processing unit for speculative execution. In this way, multiple job signals are assigned to the processing units of the processing system, and the processing units are allowed to execute a plurality of jobs speculatively while waiting for commit priority.

  • Publication number: 20040030798
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing media content to a user over a digital network, which media content is provided by a media content server, organized and selected by an intermediate node in accordance to previously stored user preferences, and delivered to a client operated by the user. The method is characterized by the steps of defining a personalized media package structure, communicating a first package having said personalized media package structure to the client, receiving status information from the client, said status information describing a user action, adapting said personalized media package structure in response to said user action, and communicating a second package having said adapted personalized media package structure to the client. According to the invention, the user can experience a highly personalized media playback, with a minium of costs related to network transmission.

  • Publication number: 20030121712
Abstract: A steering handle (1) of a truck is arranged over the battery box (2) of the truck. The steering handle (1) is journaled turnable in relation to an arm (3) around a journaling point (4), while the arm (3) in turn is journaled pivotable around a pivot point (5).

  • Publication number: 20030019991
Abstract: A cup holder arrangement (1), intended in particular for a dashboard in a vehicle, has a housing (2) which is provided with an elongate opening (3) and relative to which a cup holder mechanism (4) can be displaced between a storage position and a use position. A cup holder device (7) forming part of the cup holder mechanism (4) is rotatable about a rotation axis line (8) parallel to the longitudinal direction of the housing (2) and located at one end of the opening (3). The cup holder device (7) is arranged so as, in use position, to be located to the side of the opening (3).
