Abstract: An audio capture system for a sports camera includes at least one “enhanced” microphone and at least one “reference” microphone. The enhanced microphone includes a drainage enhancement feature to enable water to drain from the microphone more quickly than the reference microphone. A microphone selection controller selects between the microphones based on a microphone selection algorithm to enable high quality in conditions where the sports camera transitions in and out of water during activities such as surfing, water skiing, swimming, or other wet environments.

Abstract: A novel method useful in drug screening. The method is useful for testing effects of substances on the mitochondria, notably toxic or beneficial effects of drug substances or candidate drug substances. The method is based on measurement in live human mitochondria ex vivo, but in a setting as near the in vivo situation as possible. The method is also useful for testing substances impact on the mitochondrial respiration.

The speaker selection member has a first audio port and a second audio port spaced such that the loud speaker opening is exposed through the first audio port when the speaker selection member is in a first position and the ear speaker opening is exposed through the second audio port when the speaker selection member is in a second position. In a third position, the loud speaker opening may be exposed through the second port or through a third audio port in the housing.
