  • Publication number: 20240053240
Abstract: An arrangement (200) for continuously determining density of a food product in a food handling system (100) comprising a tank. The arrangement (200) comprising: a first pressure sensor (202) for determining a first pressure value of the food product in the tank; a second pressure sensor (204) for determining a second pressure value of the food product in the tank; wherein the first pressure sensor (202) is arranged above the second pressure sensor (204) with a height difference (Ah); a memory (208) holding a specific gravity constant data and a height difference data, wherein the height difference data is related to the height difference (Ah); and a controller (208) configured to determine the density of the food product in the food handling system (100) based on the first pressure value, the second pressure value, the specific gravity constant data and the height difference data.

  • Publication number: 20220185546
Abstract: Screw cap (200), loading piston (300), method for aligning the screw cap (200) and the loading piston (300) in relation to each other and a method for screwing a screw cap (200) onto a threaded neck portion of a packaging container. The screw cap (200) comprises a base portion (210) comprising a top (212) and a bottom surface (214); an annular portion (220) raised from the base portion (210), the annular portion having an inner (222) and an outer surface (224); at least one first threaded portion (252) arranged on the inner surface (222) of the annular portion, wherein the base portion (210) comprises engagement means (240), such that the screw cap (200) is configured to engage a tool (300) with at least one complementary engagement means in a process of screwing the cap onto the container with the complementary threaded neck portion.

  • Patent number: 10640351
Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a cap to a container may include arranging a first cap in relation to the neck portion of a first container, such that a threaded portion of the first cap faces a complementary threaded neck portion of the first container. Further, a symmetry axis of the first cap and a symmetry axis of the neck portion of the first container may be aligned. The first cap may be rotated around its symmetry axis to a pre-recorded initial angular position. The first cap may be applied to the neck portion by moving the cap towards the threaded neck portion or vice versa along their symmetry axes and by rotating the first cap in a direction of engagement with the threaded neck part. A path length of the first cap may be recorded in relation to its initial angular position after which it has completely engaged the complementary threaded neck portion and reached a bottom part of the neck portion.
