  • Patent number: 11435133
Abstract: A shelving system includes a first shelf, rollers, hangers, and a second shelf. The first shelf has an upper surface and defines tracks below the upper surface. The rollers are disposed within the tracks. The hangers are rotatably secured to the rollers. The second shelf is rotatably secured to the hangers. The second shelf is configured to rotate about the rollers via the hangers upon engagement between the rollers and stops to transition from a lower position to an upper-forward position. The second shelf is configured to slide rearward from the upper-forward position to an upper-rearward position. The second shelf is configured to nest with the first shelf in the upper-rearward position.

  • Publication number: 20210262718
Abstract: A refrigerator includes a cabinet structure having a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment. An evaporator is positioned in the freezer compartment within an evaporator housing. A door is pivotally coupled to the cabinet structure for selectively providing access to the refrigerator compartment and includes an ice maker. A duct assembly includes an ice maker feed duct operably coupled to the evaporator housing at a first end, and further coupled to the ice maker at a second end. The duct assembly further includes an ice maker return duct operably coupled to the ice maker at a first end and further coupled to the evaporator housing at a second end. First and second fans are provided in-series, wherein the first fan provides cooled air to the freezer compartment, and the second fan provides cooled air from the first fan to the ice maker during an ice making cycle.

  • Patent number: 10739053
Abstract: An icemaker for a refrigerated appliance is provided herein. The icemaker includes an ice tray having a plurality of ice-forming compartments. Each of the ice-forming compartments includes sidewalls and a base that defines an internal freezing chamber. A duct system has upper and lower baffles. The upper baffle directs chilled air above the ice tray and the lower baffle directs chilled air below the ice tray. A deflector is operably coupled with the upper baffle. The deflector has a transition portion offset from a body portion. A diverter is disposed between the deflector and the ice tray. The diverter defines a plurality of variously sized slots therein.

  • Patent number: 10634412
Abstract: A refrigerating appliance includes an evaporator for providing cooled air to a refrigerating compartment. An air tower defines an air channel for directing the cooled air from the evaporator to the refrigerating compartment. A plurality of air-directing guide vanes is positioned within the air tower and proximate a top of the air channel. The air directing guide vanes direct the cooled air from the air channel to define redirected air that is delivered in a direction toward an upper cool-air slot defined within the air tower. The redirected air from the air-directing guide vanes travels through the upper cool-air slot at substantially the same velocity as the cooled air entering the air-directing guide vanes. The redirected air is directed through the upper cool-air slot and toward at least one upper corner of the refrigerating compartment.
