  • Patent number: 12252395
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for controlling a sensor assembly with a plurality of same type sensors. Sensors are operated in active and inactive states. The activation state of at least one of the sensors is changed based on an operational parameter that relates to an environmental condition differentially affecting the plurality of same type sensors.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 20, 2022
Date of Patent: March 18, 2025
Inventors: Vamshi Gangumalla, Uday Mudoi, Karthik Katingari, Mahdi Heydari
  • Patent number: 11747362
Abstract: In a method for determining vibrations generated by a device, first vibration measurements are received from a first accelerometer coupled to the device, the first vibration measurements comprising a first device vibration contribution and a first environmental vibration contribution, wherein the device is located within an environment comprising a plurality of devices capable of generating vibrations. Second vibration measurements are received from a second accelerometer located within the environment and not connected to the device, the second vibration measurements comprising a second device vibration contribution and a second environmental vibration contribution. The first vibration measurements and the second vibration measurements are compared. Based on the comparing, the first device vibration contribution is estimated.

  • Patent number: 11479459
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for controlling a sensor assembly with a plurality of same type sensors. Sensors are operated in active and inactive states and have a corresponding performance parameter and reliability parameter that may be determined. The activation state of at least one of the sensors is changed based on an operational parameter. The performance parameter and/or the reliability parameter can then be updated.

  • Patent number: 11287331
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for configuring sensors to compensate for a temperature gradient. Multiple sensor sets, each having at least two sensors of a same type with orthogonal axes, are positioned to form at least one opposing sensor pair, in which an axis of one sensor of one sensor set is in an opposite orientation to an axis of one sensor of another sensor set. A combined measurement of each opposing sensor pair may be output which is compensated for an effect of a temperature gradient on sensor measurements of the sensors.
