  • Publication number: 20230415729
Abstract: A vehicular control system includes a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle so as to have a combined field of sensing forward, rearward and sideward of the vehicle. Data captured by the sensors as the vehicle moves along a road is processed at a control for detecting objects present exterior the vehicle. The control designates a plurality of locations within the fields of sensing. As the vehicle moves along the road, the control increases a value for each designated location when an object is detected at that designated location, and decreases the value for each designated location when an object is not detected at that designated location, and generates an object map based on values for the designated locations. The greater the value for a particular designated location, the greater the probability an object is present at that particular designated location.

  • Patent number: 11332124
Abstract: A vehicular sensing system includes a plurality of sensors disposed at a vehicle so as to have a combined field of sensing forward, rearward and sideward of the vehicle. Data captured by the sensors is processed at a control to detect objects present in a respective field of sensing. A control designates a plurality of locations within the fields of sensing. As the vehicle moves along the road, the control increases a value for each designated location when an object is detected at that designated location and decreases the value for each designated location when an object is not detected at that designated location. • Publication number: 20210251610
Abstract: A 3D image is provided for processing. A current resolution is set to a first coarse resolution and the current data is set to a known current data. A process is then iterated and within each iteration of the process the following is performed: pre-processing the ultrasound image in accordance with the current resolution; providing the pre-processed ultrasound image and the current data to a trained system for extracting therefrom objects of interest at the current resolution, the objects of interest extracted with a likelihood above a known threshold; determining data relating to each extracted object of interest to result in first current data; when the current resolution is a finest resolution, stopping the iterative process; and when the current resolution is other than a finest resolution, setting the current resolution to a finer resolution and returning to the start of the iterative process.

  • Publication number: 20210096517
Abstract: There is provided systems and methods for automated water operations for aquatic facilities using at least one image captured of the aquatic facilities. A method includes: receiving an input signal including a detected number of occupants in the water at the aquatic facilities, the number of occupants determined using a trained detection machine learning model, the detection machine learning model receiving the captured image with an associated feature map as input, and outputting a detection of each occupant in the water, the water level machine learning model trained using training images each including a respective label for each occupant in the training image; determining a volume of water to add by multiplying the number of occupants by a predetermined volume of freshwater to add per occupant; and directing one or more water flow regulators to permit inflow of water approximately equivalent to the volume of water to add.

  • Publication number: 20150201907
Abstract: The presented invention provides a detection method for free fluid in the human body. The preprocessing procedure is applied to reduce the speckle noise and enhance tissue volumetric pixels (voxels) intensity levels to make tissue and non-tissue voxels more distinguishable from each other. An initial surface selection step provides flexibility to either manually or automatically selecting a seed point to segment fluid regions in the volumetric data. A kidney and liver organ detection procedure provides a method for determining whether the detected fluid region is a normal fluid-carrying body organ or if it is due to a medical condition as a free fluid region. A combinational approach using a 3-dimensional Snake and Level-Set is utilized to accurately detect fluid regions in the volumetric ultrasound data.
