The method can include determining a benchmark value for a clock in a node; generating a plurality of time correction parameters associated with a plurality of time corrections for the clock; determining whether the plurality of time correction parameters meets a predetermined criteria based on the benchmark value; and generating an alert if the plurality of time correction parameters meets the predetermined criteria.
