  • Patent number: 12212636
Abstract: A method and a system for providing one or more services to one or more user devices [202] in an IoT network in a scalable M2M (Machine to Machine) framework. The method comprises receiving a connection request from the one or more user devices [202] at a load balance of the IoT network, the connection request comprises at least a username comprising a cluster identifier. The load balancer [204] determines a cluster identifier based on the connection request and identifies at least one target cluster from the one or more clusters [206], said target cluster being associated with the identifier cluster identifier. The load balancer [204] routes the connection request to the at least one target cluster to provide the one or more services to the one or more user devices [202].

  • Publication number: 20090275829
Abstract: There is provided an integrated injector subassembly or kit. The integrated injector kit comprises: Y-tubing comprising an output arm that is for releasable connection with a patient line and first and second input arms that each independently and integrally connect with an output port of first and second fluid control valves; each fluid control valve comprising: (a) the output port that is integrally connected to one of the first and second input arms of the Y-tubing; (b) an inlet port for connection with a container of a contrast agent or saline and for receiving the contrast agent or saline; and (c) a syringe port for connection with a syringe; and each pairing of fluid control valve and input arm of the Y-tubing defining a fluid path comprising at least one back check valve.

  • Patent number: 5141492
Abstract: An apparatus for carrying out peritoneal dialysis includes a central manifold, a receptacle for waste dialysate, means for supporting and heating a plurality of fresh dialysate bags, a first conduit connecting the manifold with the patient catheter, a second conduit for connecting the manifold with the receptacle, and a plurality of additional conduits connecting the manifold individually with a plurality of fresh dialysate bags. The individual conduits can be selectively closed by clamping means controlled by an electronic control, and the latter has an automatic mode which cycles the apparatus through (a) a fill/dwell phase in which the contents of one of the fresh dialysate bags flows into the patient's peritoneum cavity by gravity and remains there, and (b) a drain phase which allows waste dialysate in the patient's peritoneum cavity to drain by gravity into the receptacle. The steps (a) and (b) are repeated for all of the bags until they have been used up.

  • Patent number: 5053003
Abstract: An apparatus for carrying out peritoneal dialysis on a patient having a catheter ending in a patient connector, includes a tubing set in a "Y" configuration, including a first, second and third arm. Each arm has a clamp and terminates in a connector. Along with the "Y" tubing set are also provided a cover for covering and protecting the patient connector after the tubing set has been disconnected, and a closure for sealing a dialysate container after it has been emptied, so that it can be used in a subsequent procedure as a drain bag.

  • Patent number: 4983161
Abstract: A cap and cover are provided as a separate, disposable adjunct to the process of peritoneal dialysis, the cap and cover being connectable either together or to the two connectors, respectively, which join the patient's catheter (or transfer set) to cycler tubing. The cap and cover are designed in such away as to define internal chambers that contain liquid disinfectant, whereby they can be applied to the respective connectors (when the latter are separated) in a safe and sterile manner.
