  • Patent number: 7935114
Abstract: A treatment system includes an energy source, a pair of holding portions, an output portion and a first channel. At least one of the holding portions is configured to relatively move with respect to the other holding portion. The output portion is disposed on at least one of the pair of holding portions and connected with the energy source. The output portion is configured to generate a fluid including a gas and/or a liquid from the living tissue by the energy supplied from the energy source. The first channel is disposed at a position close to the output portion. The first channel is configured to pass the fluid generated from the living tissue.

  • Patent number: 7789883
Abstract: A treatment system includes an energy source, a pair of holding portions, an output portion and a cooling section. To hold a living tissue of a treatment target, at least one of the pair of the holding portions relatively moves with respect to the other holding portion. The output portion is disposed on at least one of the holding portions and connected with the energy source. Moreover, the output portion thermally denatures the living tissue, when the energy is supplied from the energy source. The cooling section inhibits the thermal spread in a direction away from the output portion.

  • Patent number: 7763019
Abstract: An electrosurgical instrument of the present invention includes an elongated instrument body, a cylindrical member constituting the instrument body, an ultrasonic transducer provided in inside of the cylindrical member for applying ultrasonic vibration to a fluid flowing into a liquid feed passage, a fluid atomizing port provided at the distal side of the instrument body for injecting the liquid which was given the ultrasonic vibration by the ultrasonic transducer and atomized to a living tissue from the distal end of the instrument body, and an electrode provided at the distal side of the instrument body for discharging high-frequency electric energy along the liquid injected from the fluid atomizing port so as to coagulate a surface layer of the living tissue.

  • Publication number: 20090048589
Abstract: A treatment device to treat a living tissue includes a sealing member which joints desired regions of at least two living tissues to each other in a sealed state, and a maintaining member which maintains contact between the tissues located in the vicinity of parts jointed by the sealing member.

  • Publication number: 20080243213
Abstract: A treatment system that applies energy to a living tissue includes first and second holding members, an operating section, an energy source, and a plurality of energy applying portions that apply energy supplied from the energy source. Each of the first and second holding members has a holding surface to hold the living tissue. The operating section operates a relative movement of at least one of the first and second holding members with respect to the other. The energy source supplies energy to at least one of the first and second holding members. The plurality of energy applying portions are provided on the applying surface of at least one of the first and second holding members, and uniforms density of energy applied to a living tissue held by the first and second holding members.
