    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for performing treatment of hair, where an agent such as a reducing agent that acts chemically on the hair is used. The invention employs a flexible carrier material where the agent has been absorbed. The flexible carrier material is packaged in a damp state and stored in a moisture-tight package in the form of a continuous tape. In use, the package is opened and the tape is put into a use package. The carrier material is taken out in pieces of desired sizes from the use package. The invention further relates to a product system for performing treatment of hair, which system includes flexible carrier material packaged in a damp state as well as a moisture-tight package. The carrier material has been packaged in the form of a continuous tape in a moisture-tight package. The product system further includes a use package for dosing the carrier material.
