Inventors: Andreas Von Schuttenbach, Maik Kraus
  • Patent number: 11885463
Abstract: A pressurized gas accumulator has a hollow body which extends along a longitudinal axis and at least one connection piece. The hollow body has at least one layer of a weave structure with a plurality of warp threads running next to one another and a weft thread woven with the warp threads and oriented perpendicular thereto. The warp threads are oriented essentially parallel or essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hollow body. A method for producing a pressurised gas accumulator and to a device for carrying out said method is also provided.

Date of Patent: January 30, 2024
    Assignees: Audi AG, Volkswagen AG
    Inventor: Maik Kraus
  • Patent number: 11732844
Abstract: The invention relates to a hydrogen pressure tank using a metal hydride arranged in a porous matrix material. It is provided that the metal hydride is fixed in the structure of the matrix material.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 9, 2018
Date of Patent: August 22, 2023
    Assignees: AUDI AG, VOLKSWAGEN AG
Inventors: Maik Kraus, Ismail Levent Sarioglu
  • Patent number: 11473728
Abstract: A method for filling a high-pressure gas accumulator from a reservoir is provided, comprising: removing the gas from the reservoir, transporting the gas through a gas line to a jet pump coupled to the interior of the high-pressure gas accumulator, and generating a ring flow guided along the inside of the wall of the high-pressure gas accumulator. A high-pressure gas accumulator that is suitable for carrying out the method and has a casing having a heat-sensitive layer on the inside, and has an inlet opening that traverses the casing and the layer, wherein a jet pump coupled to the inlet opening is arranged within the casing, and wherein the jet pump is oriented to generate a guided flow to the wall of the casing opposite the jet pump with deflection therein into a ring flow flowing along the heat-sensitive layer.
