  • Patent number: 5732490
Abstract: A perpetual calendar has a top sheet member having several viewing apertures formed therein. The top sheet displays on a top surface thereof in seven vertical columns the dates of the month from one to twenty-eight. One of the apertures is positioned to display up to three additional dates of the month after the numeral 28. An intermediate substrate layer is disposed beneath the top sheet and is rotatably mounted thereto. This substrate displays on a top surface thereof data for indicating days of the week, which is displayable through one of the apertures. A bottom substrate or sheet is disposed beneath the intermediate substrate and is rotatably mounted with respect to the other two substrates or sheets. This substrate layer displays on a top surface thereof the 12 months of the year and also month ending date or dates for months having more than 28 days.

  • Patent number: 5581920
Abstract: A perpetual calendar has a cylindrical outer casing having several viewing apertures formed therein. The casing displays on an outer surface thereof in seven vertical columns the dates of the month from one to twenty-eight. One of the apertures is positioned to display up to three additional dates of the month after the numeral 28. An inner cylinder is rotatably mounted in the outer casing and coaxial therewith. This cylinder displays on an exterior surface thereof the 12 months of the year and also month ending date or dates for months having more than 28 days. This cylinder is rotatable to display the current month through one aperture and correct month ending date or dates for that month through another aperture. Also, a ring is mounted for rotation in the outer casing and is coaxial with this casing. The ring displays on its exterior surface data for indicating days of the week.

  • Patent number: 4480509
Abstract: A wire stripping tool for moving insulation from the end of electrical wiring having a first, elongate cutting member providing a first handle at one end and a first cutting edge at the opposite end thereof and a second cutting member providing a second cutting edge. Each cutting edge has a wire-receiving notch therein. An elongate insulation removing member has a second handle at one end and an insulation pulling edge at the opposite end thereof. A pin member pivotally connects together the first and second cutting members and the insulation removing member at a location close to the cutting edges. A stop member on the first cutting member prevents continued pivotal movement of the first cutting member relative to the second cutting member beyond a selected point. A spring is connected between the insulation removing member and an end of the second cutting member. The spring biases the insulation removing member to a position where the pulling edge is beside the second cutting edge.
