  • Patent number: 11954643
Abstract: A production support system for generating a plant bill of process, PBoP, from a product bill of process, PdBoP, for a production plant, a corresponding method and a corresponding computer program product is provided. The production support system includes: (a) a reasoning component for determining possible cells; (b) a selection component for selecting all those cells that address operation capabilities used in the PdBoP; (c) an operation capabilities identifying component for identifying, additional operation capabilities for the selected cells which include at least two production entities, PET, based on the operation capabilities of the individual production entities, PET; and (d) a PBoP generating component for generating the PBoP from the PdBoP using the additional operation capabilities identified by the operations identifying component.

  • Patent number: 11645631
Abstract: A method and system for automatic maintenance of a machine (2) comprising the steps of receiving (S1) at least one maintenance relevant event (E) from a controller (3) of the machine (2); augmenting (S2) the received event (E) with the event's machine context read from a machine maintenance ontology; matching (S3) the event's machine context with maintenance rules to generate at least one maintenance task (T) comprising an associated task description; and providing (S4) a maintenance schedule for the machine (2) assigning the generated maintenance task (T) to suitable maintenance executing entities (5) on the basis of the task description of the respective maintenance task (T).

  • Publication number: 20220253033
Abstract: Method for implementing event rules for maintenance relevant events in a plurality of machines, wherein the method utilizes a computer system containing a common central configurator, and wherein the machines are connected to the common central configurator to transfer data, where the method includes defining a maintenance relevant event for a certain class of machines by using the common central configurator, sending the event rule to an edge device of at least one machine of this class, preferably to edge devices of all machines of this class, where the edge device forms part of the computer system, and storing the event rule in the edge device and the common central configurator such that it is possible to implement event rules in a plurality of similar machines without having to implement those event rules on every single machine independently.

  • Publication number: 20220035321
Abstract: Hidden Features are locally extracted from Industrial Data of the industrial system by a Local Application executed on a local computer of a customer. The Hidden Features are uploaded to an external computer of a service provider. A Domain Model for the industrial system is externally determined from an Industrial Model Library (IML) on the external computer based on the uploaded Hidden Features by an External Algorithm including at least one Machine Learning Model (MLM) executed on the external computer. The determined Domain Model for the industrial system is provided to the customer. The at least one MLM has been trained on ranking most appropriate Domain Models for industrial systems based on Hidden Features of the respective industrial systems. The most appropriate Domain Models represent all relevant technical aspects of the respective industrial systems.

  • Publication number: 20210405624
Abstract: Providing data generally involves a transformation of an OPC UA data model into an ontology. Such an ontology readily provides desired capabilities for validation, querying, and analytics of the OPC UA data model using sophisticated standard tools adapted to the ontology. A method for transforming a semantically enriched and graph-based data model into a target ontology is suggested. By a first act, identifications of nodes are retrieved of the data model. Subsequently or concurrently, semantic descriptions of one or more references interconnecting one or more nodes are retrieved. These semantic descriptions are expressed by at least one or more predicates and one or more concepts (e.g., classes) in the target ontology to be produced. Eventually, the target ontology is structured by a semantic ontology language and output to a triple store.
