  • Patent number: 10393515
Abstract: In a three-dimensional scanner, a scanner main body calculates the position and direction of a depth sensor. The scanner main body also determines a movement candidate, which is a candidate for a position and direction to/in which the depth sensor is to be moved next. Then, the scanner main body acquires a feature within the movement candidate, which is the feature observable by the depth sensor from the movement candidate, and evaluates the stability of mapping performed from the movement candidate through use of the feature within the movement candidate. The scanner main body further presents at least any one of the moving direction or moving speed of the depth sensor to a user based on an evaluation result.

  • Patent number: 10210628
Abstract: A storage device stores capturing conditions including a viewpoint position and a shooting direction of the camera, model data including a shape of a segmented mirror, and feature point data representing a positional relationship among a viewpoint position and feature points. A camera captures the segmented mirror having a reflective surface to obtain a captured image including at least a part of the reflective surface. A marker object has feature points, and is fixed at a predetermined position with respect to the camera. A feature-point extracting unit extracts multiple feature points from a captured image in which the feature points are reflected in the reflective surface, and determines positions of the feature points within the captured image. A position measuring unit calculates a position of the segmented mirror, based on the capturing conditions, the model data, the feature point data, and the positions of the feature points within the captured image.

  • Publication number: 20170066625
Abstract: A detection subject body includes a first detection subject plate provided with an ID sequence and a second detection subject plate provided with a clock sequence. A detector includes a first detection unit that outputs, as an ID signal, a time series signal that switches condition in a boundary position between a first property portion and a second property portion of the ID sequence when the ID sequence passes through a first detection region, and a second detection unit that outputs, as a clock signal, a time series signal that switches condition in a boundary position between a first property portion and a second property portion of the clock sequence when the clock sequence passes through a second detection region. A processing unit specifies a position of the elevating body by reading the condition of the ID signal in a position where the condition of the clock signal switches.
