The image forming apparatus includes a storage unit configured to store a print job, an acquisition unit configured to acquire unique information of the image control apparatus from the image control apparatus, and a controller configured to set, for a function of storing the received print job in the storage unit without executing the received print job until a print instruction is received, exception conditions for not storing the received print job. In response to acquisition of the unique information of the image control apparatus, the controller automatically sets the exception conditions based on the unique information.
