  • Publication number: 20010012043
Abstract: An optical scanning apparatus includes a laser unit formed by integrating a semiconductor laser and collimator lens, an incident optical system for making a light beam emerging from the laser unit strike an optical deflector while keeping the light beam wider than the width of a deflecting surface of the optical deflector in the main scanning direction, and an imaging optical system for forming the light beam reflected/deflected by the optical deflector into an image on a scanned surface. The laser unit is shifted by a shift adjusting means in a predetermined direction with respect to the optical axis of the incident optical system so as to make an illuminance distribution of scanning lines on the scanned surface become substantially symmetrical about the scanning central axis.

  • Patent number: 4797177
Abstract: An organic membrane is stretched over, or adhered to, a frame or a substrate, and that part of the membrane which extends out of the frame or substrate is cut by bringing an injection syringe-like needle into contact with, or approach to, the lateral end surface of the frame or substrate and while moving the needle along said lateral end surface, injecting an organic solvent from the needle and dissolving said membrane along the lateral end surface of the frame or substrate. By this method, the organic membrane can be cut without generating foreign matter such as cut dust.

  • Patent number: 4680623
Abstract: In a color imaging apparatus having a single chip solid state state sensor and an n color filter matrix, n color signals are used by an operation circuit in a first signal processing mode to generate chrominance signals and a luminance signal. When one of the n color signals reaches a saturation level, the operation circuit utilizes the remaining n-1 color signals. When a second color signal reaches the saturation level, a compensation signal is generated from a particular non-saturated color signal and the operation circuit utilizes the remaining n-2 non-saturated signals, including the particular non-saturated signal, and the compensation signal to produce the chrominance signals and the luminance signal. Compensation signals are generated from the particular signal until the particular color signal saturates. The particular color signal saturates last.

  • Patent number: 4434435
Abstract: A solid state color imaging apparatus is constructed by combining a solid state image sensor having a plurality of photoelectric elements disposed in two dimensional rows with parallel stripe type color filters having repetition of three or four color-filter-element stripes put in front of the image sensor. The device is free from hitherto required severe registration between the filter and the solid state image sensor. This is accomplished by selecting relative spatial phase relation between the filtered picture elements of horizontal scanning lines in a manner that the phase relation changes for every horizontal lines which are scanned in sequence. The demodulation of the chrominance signal to produce NTSC signal is made by using synchronous demodulator.
