  • Publication number: 20050093645
Abstract: A filter circuit is provided wherein one end of an inductor is connected to one end of a capacitor to form a signal input end. The other end of the inductor is connected to a first switch circuit, and the other end of the capacitor is connected to a second switch circuit. When a lower-frequency signal in a 2.4 GHz band is to be inputted, a low-pass filter circuit is formed by connecting the other end of the inductor to a signal output end and the other end of the capacitor to ground, and when a higher-frequency signal in a 5 GHz band is to be inputted, a high-pass filter circuit is formed by connecting the other end of the inductor to ground and the other end of the capacitor to the signal output end, by manipulating the first and second switch circuits.

  • Patent number: 6886463
Abstract: A printing apparatus can be easily initialized, and can easily know an error correcting method. Upon first power-up, a storage unit stores in the apparatus the initialization item data indicating the items to be initialized, and prints out the stored initialization item data. Since the contents to be initialized are printed out, the operation can be performed according to the contents without reading impossible instruction manual, thereby improving the initializing operation efficiency. Additionally, the storage unit stores the error correcting operation data indicating the operating method for correcting an error when the error occurs in the apparatus, and prints out the stored error correcting operation data. Since the error correcting operation method is printed out, an occurring error can be easily corrected by referring to the output method.

  • Publication number: 20050037804
Abstract: A high-frequency module is provided that includes a reception portion that processes a reception signal received by a reception antenna, and a transmission portion that processes a transmission signal to be supplied to a transmission antenna. The reception portion includes a demultiplexer circuit that divides a reception signal received at the reception antenna to two reception lines having different frequency bands from each other. The transmission portion includes power amplifier circuits and a demultiplexer circuit. The high-frequency module is configured so that the demultiplexer circuit and the like included in the reception portion, as well as the power amplifier circuits and the demultiplexer circuit included in the transmission portion, are provided inside a multi-layer substrate.

  • Publication number: 20050024162
Abstract: A high-frequency composite component is provided by placing an antenna on a multi-layer wiring board, placing a multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit, first and second matching circuits, and first and second balanced-to-unbalanced transformer circuits inside the board respectively, and providing first to fourth input and output terminals on the side surface of the board. The antenna is connected to the multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit via a first unbalanced line path, and the multiplexer/demultiplexer is connected to the first and second matching circuits via second and third unbalanced line paths, respectively. The first and second matching circuits are connected to the first and second balanced-to-unbalanced transformer circuits, respectively, via fourth and fifth unbalanced line paths, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20030148766
Abstract: A printer that enables a determination whether a failure has occurred in a device during initialization or a radio wave condition is bad. Receive electric field strength during a time period from a time at which a turn-off message is outputted to a time at which turn-on message is outputted and receive electric field strength after the turn-on message is outputted are measured. The measurements are compared with each other and information indicating the condition of each of a plurality of channels is printed out according to the results of the comparison. A user can reference the printed information to determine whether a failure has occurred in a device or the radio wave condition is bad.
