Abstract: A package stock management method and device for an operator to register (provisioning-setting) a new service in a service offering device, wherein upon reception of a provisioning setting request of a service to a desired service offering device, a package having a necessary function for offering the service is retrieved from stock information set in a first database; proper information of the retrieved package as provisioning information is set in a second database; and, at the time when the retrieved package is forwarded and mounted on the service offering device, the provisioning information is set in the mounted package.

Abstract: An SNMP proxy agent includes a format conversion unit for converting management information received from a monitored device not using the SNMP as a management protocol, into a format corresponding to the SNMP, an IP address conversion unit for converting the particular information on the monitored device included in the management information into a virtual IP address indicating the monitored device, a trap generation unit for generating an SNMP trap having the virtual IP address set as a transmission origin and containing the management information after the conversion, and a transmission unit for transmitting the generated SNMP trap to an SNMP manager.

Abstract: This invention relates to insulated wires having good heat resistance and solderability. In particular, wires coated with a polyimide resin or an imide-modified polyurethane resin are provided. They can each be produced by coating a conductor with an insulating coating composition which contains a polyamic acid represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 means a particular tetravalent organic group, R.sup.2 denotes a specific divalent organic group, X is an alkylene or alkylenephenylene group, and n stands for a positive integer.
