    Abstract: An electronic endoscope selector that is used in an electronic endoscope system which shares peripheral devices, such as a TV monitor, VCR etc., among a plurality of electronic endoscopes. The electronic endoscope selector comprises switching circuits for switching and selecting video signals and synchronization signals fed from one of the plurality of electronic endoscopes. The selector also comprises amplifiers, gamma correction circuits, a system control circuit and memory. The amplifiers and gamma correction circuits are for adjusting gains and gamma correction of RGB video signals fed from the selected electronic endoscope. Parameters for appropriate gains and gamma correction corresponding to each endoscope are stored in the memory. The system control circuit controls the amplifiers and gamma correction circuits in accordance with the parameters that correspond to the selected electronic endoscope.

    Abstract: In a fuel tank level sensor 1 for measuring a remaining amount of fuel in accordance with a resistance value which is varied by moving a rheostat 1a utilizing a float 1c that vertically moves according to increase and decrease of the fuel in a fuel tank 2, change in resistance value of the rheostat 1a includes a linear range in which the resistance value linearly varies with the increase and decrease of the fuel, and a non-linear range in which the resistance value discontinuously varies under full-tank conditions where the fuel tank is substantially filled up with the fuel. Even upon undesirable increase of the resistance value of the rheostat 1a as a result of deposition of sulfides, the sensor 1 can always detect accurately that the fuel tank 2 is filled up.

    Abstract: In a system for warning a failure to wear a seat belt to urge a vehicle operator to wear the seat belt, a sound emitter is activated when a vehicle speed is higher than a threshold level and the seat belt is not fastened. The sound emitter cyclically alternates between a sound emitting state and a silent state when activated, the silent state lasting for a period of at least three seconds each time. Because the silent state is interposed between sound emitting states and because the warning is not emitted when traveling for a short period of time at a low speed, for instance, in a parking garage or the like or when the vehicle is stationary, the annoyance to the vehicle operator is minimized while allowing the vehicle operator to be kept warned.

The radius of arcuate shape at the both side parts of the arcuate portion in a plan view is smaller than the radius of arcuate shape at the center part of the arcuate portion in a plan view. The opposing side wall has a deflecting portion to deflect the fuel toward the inside of the cavity.

    Abstract: A fuel injector which is enabled to form a fuel spray efficiently and properly into a flat sector shape by improving the angle, dispersion and atomization of the spray and by optimizing the spray tip penetration. A slit-shaped nozzle outlet 4 is constructed such that its transverse walls from its inner end 9 to its outer end 10 have an included angle .gamma. of 20 to 180 degrees, such that an angle .beta. of 0 to 90 degrees is made between the axis of the fuel injector and the opening direction of the slit-shaped nozzle outlet 4, such that the nozzle outlet 4 is diverged outward from a plane joining the axis to the fuel injector and the inner end 9, and such that the opposite portions of the inner end 9 have a width W of 0.05 mm to 0.24 mm. By combining these constructions suitably, the fuel spray can be formed efficiently and properly into a flat sector shape thereby to improve the fuel injection characteristics.

The simulated sound signal which is generated by the simulated sound source device and adjusted in level by the sound level switcher device is amplified by amplifiers, which drive respective loudspeakers to produce simulated sounds. The sound level switcher device is also controlled based on an ambient noise level detected by a noise sensor.
