  • Patent number: 5956205
Abstract: A disk holding mechanism for use in a disk apparatus includes a disk holder unit (60) for holding a disk (40) inserted into the disk apparatus. The disk holder unit includes a leaf spring (63) which serves as an urging member for urging a substantial center of the disk downwardly from an upper surface of the disk with the disk held in the disk holder unit. The urging member prevents the disk from vibrating within the disk holder unit and restricts vertical movement of the disk itself even if the disk apparatus is subjected to external shake or shock. Thus, it is possible to constantly maintain stable head touch of a magnetic head to a magnetic disk medium (41) of the disk.

  • Patent number: 4980627
Abstract: A numerically controlled apparatus wherein a tool can be returned by a high speed retrograding operation without damaging a chip of a tool or a work. The numerically controlled apparatus comprises a command executing block which decodes a working program for each of block commands and controls controlling driving of a tool to work a work. A retrograde command storage block extracts data necessary for the production of a retrograde block command from the working program and stores the extracted data therein. Upon reception of a retrograding signal, an escapement command producing block produces an escapement block command, and a retrograde block command producing means produces a retrograde block command. Then, an escapement/retrograde command execution controlling block causes the command executing block to execute the escapement block command and the retrograde block command.

  • Patent number: 4941104
Abstract: An improvement in a numerical control apparatus for controlling a threading operation with a tap. A numerical control apparatus of the present invention which is simple in construction and needs no dummy mechanism such as a floating tapper; and which minimizes the drift of the tap in the bottom of a tapped hole by an instruction to a feed shaft which switches an acceleration or deceleration time constant, and a simultaneous instruction to a spindle device which controls the position of the spindle device. Thus, the machining precision of the bottom of the tapped hole is improved, and a high-speed tapping operation is possible. Furthermore, the numerical control device also is capable of preventing the tap and the threaded portion machined by the tap from being damaged upon an occurrence of an abnormal condition by an instruction from the removing control unit.
