    Abstract: Provided is an air conditioner including an indoor unit provided with a microphone element for receiving voice instructions, such that a voice instruction spoken by an operator is acquired with high quality and control based on the voice instruction spoken by the operator is likely to be ensured. The air conditioner includes an indoor unit, a transmission unit, and a reception unit. The indoor unit has a main body and a microphone element. The main body has formed therein a blow-out port through which air-conditioned air is blown out toward a space to be air-conditioned. The microphone element accepts a voice instruction captured from a voice capturing portion arranged at a position that deviates from a ventilation space through which the air blown out from the blow-out port flows, in such a manner as to face the space to be air-conditioned. The transmission unit transmits the voice instruction accepted by the microphone element to an outside as a signal.

    Abstract: A filler-containing film that holds fillers and a fine solid in an insulating resin layer and a predetermined arrangement of the fillers is repeated as viewed in a plan view has a proportion of 300% or less where the proportion is a repeat pitch of the fillers after thermocompression bonding to that before thermocompression bonding during thermocompression bonding under a predetermined thermocompression bonding condition with the filler-containing film held between smooth surfaces. A method of producing the filler-containing film includes the steps of: forming an insulating resin layer on a release substrate; pushing fillers from a surface on a side opposite to the release substrate of the insulating resin layer; and layering the insulating resin layer containing the fillers pushed and another insulating resin layer. This filler-containing film suppresses disorder of arrangement of fillers during thermocompression bonding of the film to an article.

    Abstract: An electric dust collector that is capable of enhancing collection efficiency. An exhaust pipe (4) consists of a steel pipe (14) whose exterior surface is lined with refractory material (15). A supporting member (5) is supported outside the exhaust pipe (4) and is inserted into the exhaust pipe (4). A discharge electrode (7) is fixed to the supporting member (5) so that it is electrically insulated from the exhaust pipe (4). A surface electrode (6) is fixed to the discharge electrode (7) and has a pyramid-shaped mesh (6c). The mesh (6) is arranged coaxially with the exhaust pipe (4) so that it spreads within the exhaust pipe (4) toward the exit of the exhaust pipe (4). The discharge electrode (7) penetrates the center line of the surface electrode (6) and protrudes downward from the vertex of the mesh (6c).

    Abstract: An electric dust collector that does not need an exhaust fan or special equipment for preventing dust from flying off. An incinerator is formed on a building, and a smokestack is raised so that it is integrated with the wall of the incinerator. The smokestack is formed from metallic sheeting and lined with refractories. A beam is installed over the smokestack. The beam is electrically insulated using insulatores. A discharge electrode is suspended form the beam at the center of the smokestack. The discharge electrode has many needle-like discharge pins almost in its lower half part. The negative pole of a DC high-voltage power supply is connected with the discharge electrode, while the positive pole is grounded and connected with the metallic sheeting constituting the smokestack.
