  • Publication number: 20240066891
Abstract: A heating apparatus, an image forming apparatus, and a liquid discharge apparatus. The heating apparatus includes a heating roller having a heat source inside, an end holder in which a portion of the heat source is disposed, the end holder holding an axial end of the heating roller rotatably, and an air supply device configured to supply air into the end holder in a direction intersecting with an axial direction of the heating roller. The heating apparatus includes a heating roller having a heat source inside, and an end holder in which a portion of the heat source is disposed, the end holder rotatably holding an axial end of the heating roller. In the heating apparatus, the end holder has an air inlet opening through which air is supplied into the end holder and an air outlet opening through which air is ejected outside from inside the end holder.

  • Patent number: 6362951
Abstract: A container box for use in a communication apparatus. The container box has a container case defining an internal space; partitions connected to the container case for partitioning the internal space to have at least two accommodating chambers; and a container cover corresponding to each of the at least two accommodating chambers. Each cover is connected to the container case for independently closing and opening the at least two accommodating chambers. Wherein the at least two accommodating chambers each have differing degrees of waterproof level.

  • Patent number: 6205023
Abstract: In an electronic unit which comprises a heat source, is supported in a casing, and should be kept below an allowable temperature, a movable heat sink is brought into thermal contact with the heat source and an external heat sink of the casing. Preferably, the movable heat sink is movable into and out of the thermal contact with the heat source and is slidably guided by a guide member of the casing. More preferably, a resilient thermal conductive member is interposed between the heat source and the movable heat sink.

  • Patent number: 6178282
Abstract: An attaching arrangement for attaching, to a communications apparatus container box, an optical cable case which includes a case body for accommodating an optical cable and a case end portion attached to the case body. The attaching arrangement includes: a first rotary hinge having a first rotary hinge axis for rotatably attaching the case end portion to the container box around the first rotary hinge axis; and a second rotary hinge having a second rotary hinge axis perpendicular to the first rotary hinge axis for rotatably attaching the case end portion to the container box around the second rotary hinge axis. In a preferred implementation, the attaching arrangement further includes: a slide rail slidably attached to an inner surface of the container box along a direction parallel to the second rotary hinge axis so that the slide rail is slidable from an inside of the container box to an outside of the container box and from the outside of the container box to the inside of the container box.

  • Patent number: 5954124
Abstract: A heat exchanging device of the present invention includes two fluid compressing means respectively mounted on the centers of both sides of a partition, each for feeding a respective fluid under pressure. A plurality of passageways adjoin each other around the fluid compressing means, and each faces the associated fluid compressing means at one end while facing the outside of the partition at the other end. The passageways protrude from both sides of the partition. Among the passageways, either the odd passageways or the even passageways are open on the front side of the partition at both ends while the other passageways are open on the rear side of said same at both ends. Two fluids of different temperatures respectively compressed by the fluid compressing means are respectively fed under pressure from one ends to the other ends of the odd passageways and the even passageways while contacting each other with the intermediary of the side walls of the passageways to thereby exchange heat.

  • Patent number: 5683001
Abstract: A rack for mounting communication apparatuses or similar electronic apparatuses. The rack has a pair of posts symmetrical to each other in the right-and-left direction and each having a section in the form of a letter C. The posts are positioned such that the open side of "C" faces outward. A shelf included in an electronic apparatus is mounted to the posts. The posts are tied to each other by a top frame at upper ends and affixed to a base at lower ends. A generally L-shaped reinforcing member is connected to the lower portion of each post such that the longer side of "L" is parallel to the closed side of "C" representing the post, thereby providing the lower portion of the post with a hollow rectangular section. The reinforcing member is not connected to the base.

  • Patent number: 5255160
Abstract: An electronic device package accommodatable in an electronic device casing. When a high density multipin connector is caused to mate with a connector mounted on the casing, the former is once brought to a stop just before mating with the latter and, therefore, prevented from rapidly mating with the latter. This eliminates the damage to the body of the connector and the deformation of the pins of the connector.
