  • Patent number: 6261076
Abstract: Candy mass including sugar and starch syrup is passed through a nozzle to which twisted-blades are mounted by a pair of a piston and a deposit cylinder for deposit, the candy mass being poured into a die. Consequently, candies having a beautiful marble pattern can be produced continuously.

  • Patent number: 5469780
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for filling edible, rod-shaped hollow bodies with chocolate comprising a feeding unit (1) for conveying hollow bodies (A), a transport roller (2) positioned close to the feeding unit, a first transfer roller (5) positioned close to the transport roller, a chocolate filling roller (8) positioned close to the first transport roller, a second transfer roller (13) positioned close to the chocolate filling roller, and a discharging unit (14) positioned close to the second transfer roller for receiving and conveying hollow bodies filled with chocolate from the chocolate filling roller via the second transfer roller. The apparatus assures the continuous flow of hollow bodies to the chocolate filling station without any fear of breaking fragile hollow bodies, thereby permitting mass production of chocolate corn cakes, each filled with an exact amount of chocolate.

  • Patent number: 5444403
Abstract: A duty ratio discriminating circuit for discriminating a ratio of a high-level precedent portion to one period of an information signal whose level varies periodically, on the basis of threshold values. A sequencer outputs a shift signal to obtain a first threshold level, by detecting the precedent portion of the information signal to output a sampling signal. A subsequent portion of the information signal is detected to output a lath signal, and both the precedent and subsequent portions of the information signal are detected to output a reset signal. A counter circuit detects a time period of the precedent portion of the information signal by counting a number of reference clock signals to obtain count data. A shift circuit shifts the count data. A discriminating circuit obtains a discriminate point by comparing a time period of the subsequent portion of the information signal with a second threshold value corresponding to the count data shifted by the shift circuit.

  • Patent number: 4988283
Abstract: An electric power supplied to an electric load (24) is determined and the current (i.sub.FC) outputted from a fuel cell part (7) is controlled in accordance with a load power signal (701) which corresponds to the detected result. A fuel cell output following the variation of the power load (24) can be obtained by controlling the amounts of a starting material (41) to be reformed, a reformed fuel (42) and an air (43) to be supplied based on this output current. When the power load (24) is at a low level, the foregoing output from the fuel cell is also supplied to a heating portion (10) for heating the fuel cell part so as not to reduce the current (i.sub.FC) outputted from the fuel cell part. Since the output current is not reduced, it is possible to prevent an extreme increase in the electrode voltage of the fuel cell part (7) and hence the deterioration of the electrode is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4878135
Abstract: A head positioning system for use with a magnetic disk with outer, middle and inner servo tracks which are radially separated by data tracks. The head positioning system includes a measuring element for measuring deviations of the magnetic head from the outer, middle and inner servo tracks by reading the servo information recorded on each of the servo tracks and generating first, second and third deviation values. The head positioning system also includes a determining element which determines an offset correction value for a targtet data track included in the data tracks in accordance with a quadratic compensation function and the first, second and third deviation values. A fine positioning element positions the magnetic track of the target track according to the offset correction value.
