  • Patent number: 9385257
Abstract: There are provided a quantum dot, a plurality of quantum dots having a larger volume than the quantum dot, a light detection unit for detecting a light emission state of an output light from the plurality of quantum dots, and a light supply unit capable of supplying a control light to the plurality of quantum dots thereby to excite other exciters to a lower level, and controlling energy discharging of the exciters transiting to the lower level, wherein the control light to be supplied by the light supply unit is controlled per quantum dot based on the light emission state of the output light per quantum dot and previously-input search problem information.

  • Patent number: 9136720
Abstract: A control unit of a vehicle power control apparatus performs an operation described below. The control unit fluctuates a voltage of an alternating-current power output from a discharging terminal with a power supplier when the control unit detects that a receiving terminal of an alternating-current load or a charging terminal is connected to the discharging terminal, or that a supply terminal of an alternating-current power supply or the discharging terminal is connected to the charging terminal. Also, the control unit directs a notifying portion to perform a notifying operation when the control unit detects that a voltage of alternating-current power input to the charging terminal is fluctuating in the same manner that a voltage of alternating-current power output from the discharging terminal is fluctuating.

  • Patent number: 7245836
Abstract: Incident signal beam pulses are transmitted by an on-state region, and an optical path for the signal beam pulses is spatially switched in an optical switch. Signal beam pulses transmitted by the on-state region of the optical switch are detected at a pixel corresponding to a transmitting region of a photo-detector equipped with a plurality of pixels. A timing computation unit acquires position information of a pixel at which a predetermined signal beam pulse has been detected, on the basis of a result of the detection conducted by the photo-detector, and computes timing of arrival of a predetermined signal beam pulse at the optical switch on the basis of the position information of the pixel and time when a region corresponding to the pixel is brought to an on-state.

  • Patent number: 4672155
Abstract: A coordinate reader comprises first and second conductor loops each having an electrical conductor so that electrical conductors of the respective conductor loops are juxtaposed on an electrically insulating board, a cosine function generator connected to one of the first and second conductor loops, a sine function generator connected to the other of the first and second conductor loops, a cursor incorporating a magnetic flux detecting coil for detecting magnetic fluxes generated in the conductor loops excited by the cosine and sine function generators, and a processor. The processor processes and controls operations of the aforementioned components to detect coordinates of the cursor.
