  • Publication number: 20050073519
Abstract: An analytical shell model forming apparatus includes a medial surface forming unit for approximating a solid model to a plurality of shell models. An extracting unit compares a plurality of formed medial surface models and extracts difference portions. A model candidate forming unit forms a plurality of medial surface model candidates suitable for analysis by combining the extracted difference portions. A select unit selects a medial surface model matching boundary conditions, constraint conditions and the like from the plurality of model candidates. The selected medial surface model is presented to an operator as an analysis medial surface model.

  • Publication number: 20040186604
Abstract: An analytical shell-model producing apparatus comprises a pair-surfaces acknowledging portion, a top/bottom side rib attribute acknowledging portion, an offset-surface producing portion, and an internal-surface producing portion. The pair-surfaces acknowledging portion acknowledges as the pair-surfaces when the face-to-face distance of two (2) surfaces is equal or less than a reference-plate thickness size, which constitute the configuration model. The top/bottom side rib attribute acknowledging portion acknowledges the pair-surfaces as to be either the top or the bottom side surface and the rib surface. The offset-surface producing portion produces an offset-surface, by offsetting either the top or the bottom side surface and also the rip surface into an inside thereof. The internal-surface producing portion registers the offset-surface seaming therebetween as to be an internal-surface model.

  • Publication number: 20040138861
Abstract: In a configuration model producing apparatus, a simplification candidate portion automatic extracting means produces a configuration by expanding the configuration model into an outside by a reference parameter, and also a configuration by reducing the configuration model into an inside by the reference parameter. The expanded configuration and the reduced configuration are compared wit the configuration model, respectively, thereby extracting partial configurations, which disappear and are reversed therefrom. Removing the partial configuration coincident with a predetermined condition among the configurations, an analytical configuration model is produced, being necessary for use in analyzing.

  • Publication number: 20030090526
Abstract: Analysis work processses are defined as a process template and an engineering tool and a knowledge retrieval visualization tool are combined by means of the process template. Further, the engineering tool automatically executes an execution control file corresponding to analysis knowledge. Thus, automation concerning analysis modeling and analysis evaluation of the analysis work can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20010034590
Abstract: A joint portion of a profile model is retrieved from three-dimensional CAD model data and a joint target part, a joint position and a joint means are registered as parts joint data. A joint model preparing object corresponding to the parts joint data is retrieved from a joint model preparing object database, a joint model preparing process registered in the joint model preparing object is executed to prepare a joint model, and the joint model and a neutral plane model are synthesized to prepare an analytic model.

  • Patent number: 6140758
Abstract: A display screen having a color filter including a black matrix formed on a substrate of the display screen. A number of color filter layers, each formed in holes of the matrix, provide filtering of light components corresponding to the color of the filter layer. Also provided is one other color filter layer of a final color. This other color filter is also formed on the matrix and formed in another one of the other holes. Consequently, the other color filter layer can be formed without the need of exposing an associated resist layer, thereby simplifying the color filter manufacturing process.

  • Patent number: 5892515
Abstract: A shape model as an object to be analyzed and division information used to produce a finite element mesh are entered, and a recognition model is produced by allocating each edge line segmented by structural points of the shape model to any one coordinate axial direction in an orthogonal coordinate system. A mapping model is produced in which an orthogonal lattice is produced on a surface and the inside of an approximated shape model, and is displayed on a screen. The mapping model is modified by a system user in an interactive operation. A finite element mesh is generated from lattice points of the modified mapping model. The data input by the system user is processed in an input/output data processing unit, and shape model data of the object to be analyzed is produced in a shape model producing unit. Based on the division information input by the system user, a finite element mesh is generated on the shape model by a finite element mesh producing unit.

  • Patent number: 5313704
Abstract: An electric shaver comprises a housing (1) formed as a grip, a shaving head (2) comprising at least one cutting unit (11) having an outer cutting member (16) and an inner cutting member which is rotatable relative to the outer cutting member, and drive element for driving the inner cutting member, the shaving head being pivotably connected to the housing. In known shavers the motor is accommodated in the shaving head, resulting in a poor balance and poor contact between the shaving head and the skin. According to the invention the shaver is characterized in that a motor (5) belonging to the drive element is accommodated inside the housing (1), the drive element being adapted to follow the pivotal movements of the shaving head (2) relative to the housing. Preferably, the drive element comprises flexible coupling element, for example a pulley-belt transmission (9, 12, 15) but alternatively the drive element may comprise a universal joint.
