  • Publication number: 20240000198
Abstract: A polyester woven-fabric hook-and-loop fastener has a warp yarn thickness Tb which is 0.94 times or less of a warp yarn thickness Ts. A selvage area having a constant width is present on two opposite ends, continuously in a line form in the warp direction, without misalignment in the weft direction. As a result, when the polyester woven-fabric hook-and-loop fastener is sewn onto a garment or the like, a sewing thread sewn to the selvage area is in a straight line without meandering, and thus a sewn product excellent in appearance can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6099216
Abstract: A profile processing method and a processing machine therefor which can obtain a good finish surface accuracy in all the carving surfaces and curb the decrease in tool's life are provided.More specifically, an end mill is first moved along an outermost side of an annular groove in carving the annular groove to a work. Consequently, the end mill is gradually moved to inside to be moved and carve along the annular groove. When the outermost side of the annular groove is carved, the movement path of the end mill is selected so that the outermost side is down-cut (counterclockwise in FIG. 5). When further inner side is carved, the movement path of the end mill is selected so that the direction of the relative movement path is opposite to the direction of the relative movement path when the outermost side is carved, in other words, the carved surfaces are down-cut by the end mill.

  • Patent number: 6075335
Abstract: A positioning control method (80) has a setting section (81) for setting a comparison reference value in accordance with a machine tool in advance, a detecting section (82) for detecting a command value by the rapid traverse command G00, a comparing section (83) for comparing the comparison reference value and the command value, and a determining section (84) for changing the rapid traverse command G00 to a linear interpolation command G01 when the command value is smaller than the comparison reference value, executing the rapid traverse value G00 when the command value is larger than the comparison reference value, and selecting either one of the rapid traverse command G00 or the linear interpolation command G01 when the comparison reference value is equal to the command value. Less effective short-distance rapid traverse command is converted to the linear interpolation command, thus speeding up positioning control to make an entire processing of the workpiece faster.

  • Patent number: 5238340
Abstract: The invention relates to improvements in a tilting mechanism for a saddle swivel head for a double housing type machine tool. The saddle swivel head 13 is provided at the sides thereof in the tilting direction with hydraulic cylinders 18R, 18L, to which is connected a hydraulic piping system 19 for giving swivel balancing pressures and back pressures when the swivel head 13 is tilted by a predetermined angle by a tilting driving mechanism. The saddle swivel head 13 is tilted while providing swivel balancing pressures to the hydraulic cylinders 18R, 18L, and after tilting the head by the predetermined angle, back pressures are applied to the hydraulic cylinders 18R, 18L to compensate for a tilting moment of the saddle swivel head 13.

  • Patent number: 5137400
Abstract: A device for clamping coaxial, first and second spindles of a machine tool to each other. The first spindle is hollow and rotatably supported by a spindle head. The second spindle is rotatably supported in the first spindle and can be moved back and forth in the axial direction of the second spindle. The device includes a space formed between portions of both the spindles; disc springs are provided in the space to exert an axial force; and a pair of clamp rings are disposed on both sides of the springs, for clamping both the spindles to each other due to a wedge action through the force of the disc springs. An oil chamber is formed at one side of the pair of clamp rings in order to release the clamping of both the spindles when oil pressure is applied. A hydraulic pressure source is provided for supplying pressurized oil into the oil chamber through a static pressure pocket provided at the place where the first spindle is in sliding contact with a bush encircling the first spindle.

  • Patent number: 4756621
Abstract: Apparatus for measuring a displacement of a movable member or a diameter of a cylindrical member comprises a photoelectric converting element array to convert light reflected by the surface of the member for producing an electric signal utilized to form a pattern information of the surface. The characterizing points of the pattern information are extracted and binarized into a binary pattern information which is compared with a reference pattern information. The difference between them is accumulated to determine the displacement. To measure a diameter the displacement thus obtained is divided by circular constant n.

  • Patent number: 4218825
Abstract: A cylindrical blank is mounted on the turn table of a vertical lathe with the axis of the former as close as possible to the axis of the latter. The angle between a reference point on the periphery of the blank and a measuring point circumferentially displaced from the reference point and the deviation of the periphery at the measuring point from a circle about the axis of the turn table are measured. Then an axis at which the dispersion of the deviation at the measuring point is a minimum is calculated by using the measured angles and the deviations to determine the distance between the axis of the blank and the axis of the turn table, and press members mounted on the turn table are actuated to move the blank by the distance thus determined to coincide the axis of the blank with the axis of the turn table.
