  • Patent number: 11252974
Abstract: An oxidation inhibitor containing, as an active ingredient, an aminocarbonyl compound having a structure resulting from binding of an amino group of a compound having sphingoid base structure and a carbonyl group of a carbonyl compound. The oxidation inhibitor has high oxidation inhibitory effects, and inhibits oxidation of fats and oils, in particular, fats and oils containing a large proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids to prevent deterioration due to oxidation of fats and oils.

  • Patent number: 5785350
Abstract: An air bag against side collision, wherein two faces of mutually opposed peripheral wall portions having a substantially rectangular shape are connected by tethers in a strip or band-like shape whereby a distance of separation between the side wall portions in expanding the air bag is restricted. The expanded shape of the air bag is a substantially rectangular plate having four edges. An inner location near a rear edge accommodates an inflator supplying gas for expansion. Two side edges extend substantially parallel with each other from opposite ends of the rear edge and a front edge In a folded state, the front edge side of the air bag is cactus-folded such that the front edge side enters the inner side of the rear edge side of the air bag and approaches the rear edge. Tethers are connected respectively to the peripheral wall portions with a width dimension parallel with folds where the front edge side of the air bag is drawn in.

  • Patent number: 5392024
Abstract: A collision detection system utilizing a set of primary sensors and a secondary sensor. When a sufficient collision load is applied to the sensors, the sensors output a signal. The primary sensors are constructed to be more sensitive than the secondary sensor. Based on the outputs of the primary and secondary sensors, a control unit detects the collision. Upon detecting the collision, the control unit outputs a collision detection signal which activates a protection device, such as an air bag.

  • Patent number: 5359909
Abstract: A control cable adjusting arrangement for a gear shift locking arrangement includes a holder portion which accepts an inner cable of a control cable in one end thereof. An outer cable encasing the inner cable is retained by a bracket. The other end of the holder accepts an end of a control rod associated with a gear shift lever. Disposed around the holder is a slider portion movable between a locked and unlocked position determined between two stopper flanges formed on the outer circumference of the holder. The holder and slider are made of an elastic material such as rubber and an end of the holder which accepts the end of the control rod has a flared outer circumference.
