  • Publication number: 20060224300
Abstract: A mobile phone base station sends to a mobile phone device information requesting location data thereof, receives location data sent back by the mobile phone device according to the information, and outputs the location data to a location data collection system. The location data collection system inputs the location data, and generates state-of-move information constituted from a location distribution, a moving speed distribution, and a moving direction distribution, or information obtained by filing these information, based on the location data. Then, the location data collection system broadcasts the generated state-of-move information to the car navigation system located in a predetermined area through the mobile phone base station. The car navigation system displays the received state-of-move information on a screen of a display unit thereof with a map indicating the vicinity of the location of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7010583
Abstract: A transport system composed of road side stations installed along roads and vehicles running on roads, wherein emergency processing at the time of an accident, a local information providing service, and so on are realized by the road side stations in cooperation of the road side stations and the respective vehicles. In the transport system, a plurality of road side stations are interconnected through a road side communication network, and a plurality of vehicles communicate with the road side stations. A vehicle transmits a request message containing a service code and location information. A road side station receiving the request message broadcasts the request message to the network. The road side stations receive the message, and determine whether or not requested processing should be executed based on the service code and the location information. When determining that the processing should be executed, the road side station executes processing indicated by the service code.

  • Patent number: 6811515
Abstract: The improved CVT control apparatus for a vehicle is disclosed. By using the CVT control apparatus, it becomes possible that the drive feeling is constant independently of a running state, the vehicle is accelerated as the driver's intention if accelerated due to the actuation of an accelerator pedal, and the run of the vehicle is performed so as to improve the fuel consumption rate if the acceleration is not required. By always calculating a correct driving torque, the transmission gear ratio is calculated to obtain the target driving torque set based on the amount of actuation of an accelerator pedal, and the obtained target driving torque is corrected by the gradient of a road obtained from the calculated driving torque. Further, the gear ratio which aims at the improvement of acceleration and the gear ratio which aims at the improvement of the rate of fuel consumption are weighted and combined with each other, and the optimum gear ratio is obtained by using fuzzy inference.

  • Patent number: 6779872
Abstract: Two lines extending in the main scanning direction build a set of lines (L1, L2) each of which is formed by a plurality of dots. Assignment is alternately executed to preceding scanning and subsequent scanning so as to allow each of the lines (L1, L2) formed by a number of pixels (P1, P2, P4, P3, P5, P6, P8, P7, - - - ) to extend along a snake movement-like route. Thus, dots located adjacent to each other in the auxiliary scanning direction are not formed by same scanning, and a quantity of ink spreading on a recording medium without penetration of the ink through the latter can be reduced. Consequently, there few arises stripe and fluctuation in density, whereby an excellent quality of image having sharp edge portions can be obtained without any occurrence of a problem attributable to the presence of unfixed ink.

  • Publication number: 20040100517
Abstract: The invention is intended to reduce streaks and density unevenness in an image recorded by a recording head. The density of a not-yet-completed image formed by preceding recording is read and a result of the reading is reflected upon subsequent recording so that the streaks and the density unevenness caused by the preceding recording are reduced by the subsequent recording. Practically, based on the reading result, recording data for use in the subsequent recording is corrected to be able to reduce the streaks and the density unevenness.

  • Patent number: 6652056
Abstract: It is an object to provide an ink-jet recording apparatus capable of always obtaining an image having a high quality without difficulty for a user by precisely detecting a cause which deteriorates image quality and by efficiently resolving the cause. The cause of the deterioration in image quality is detected on the basis of a difference S between image data G intended to be recorded and read data Y which is obtained by reading the image that is recorded on a recording medium (S=G−Y), thereby determining a processing method for resolving the cause. The determined processing method is executed and, thus, normal recording is always possible.
