Abstract: A process for processing a silver halide color photographic material is disclosed which comprises processing a silver halide color photographic material containing at least one compound represented by formula (I) or (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, or a heterocyclic group; A represents a group forming a chemical bond by reaction with an aromatic primary amine color developing agent; n represents 0 or 1; X represents a group released on reaction with an aromatic primary amine color developing agent; B represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group, a heterocyclic group, an acyl group, or a sulfonyl group; and Y represents a group accelerating the addition of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent to the compound of formula (II), and said R.sub.1 and X or said Y and R.sub.

Abstract: Photographic coupler solvents which are solid at ordinary temperature are described for incorporation in photographic emulsions and elements. The solvents are employed in combination with a cyan dye forming coupler of the specific phenol type and a discoloration inhibitor of the dihydroxybenzene ether type to improve long-term preservability of the developed cyan dye particularly by exposure to mild heat and humidity.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having formed thereon at least one red-sensitive emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive emulsion layer, and at least one blue-sensitive emulsion layer is disclosed. The material contains a novel combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow couplers and has improved color forming properties, color reproducibility, and image preservability.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having formed thereon at least one red-sensitive emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive emulsion layer, and at least one blue-sensitive emulsion layer is disclosed. The material cotains a novel combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow couplers and has improved color forming properties, color reproducibility, and image preservability.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material capable of providing color images having good coloring properties and being excellent in color reproducibility even in a developer using hard water, which contains a cyan coupler represented by formula (I) or (II) and 5-pyrazolone magenta coupler having an arylthio group at the coupling position of said coupler, wherein said arylthio group includes an aliphatic oxy group or an aromatic oxy group at an ortho-position with respect to the sulfur atom of the arylthio group, the aliphatic group or aromatic group of said aliphatic oxy group or aromatic oxy group being unsubstituted or substituted by at least one member selected from(a) a halogen atom,(b) a cyano group,(c) an unsubstituted or substituted aliphatic, aromatic, or heterocyclic sulfonyl, sulfinyl, or phosphonyl group, and(d) a group represented by the formula ##STR1## (e) a group represented by the formula--A.sub.2 -M).sub.n B.sub.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support and red-sensitive, green-sensitive and blue-sensitive light-sensitive layers formed on the support. The light-sensitive layers separately contain a coupler of formula (I), a coupler of formula (II) or (III), and a coupler of formula (IV). ##STR1## This novel combination of couplers leads to good color formability, improved color reproducibility, improved image preservability and good color balance.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is described, comprising a coupler represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents the residue of a coupler, R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group having from 4 to 15 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, with the total number of carbon atoms of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 being from 8 to 27.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material which has superior fastness to both heat and light, exhibits absorption desirable from the viewpoint of color reproduction, and has superior color forming property is disclosed which comprises a support having thereon a cyan dye forming coupler represented by the following general formula (I) and a cyan dye forming coupler represented by the following general formula (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.4 each represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or heterocyclic group, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.5 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group, R.sup.6 represents a group with which a benzene ring can be substituted, X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each represents a group which can be released upon an oxidative coupling reaction with a developing agent, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 may combine together to form a 5-membered or 6-membered ring, and n represents an integer of 1 to 5.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming oleophilic polymer coupler. The polymer coupler is comprised of three repeating units including a repeating unit of a cyan coupler corresponding to general formula (I), an ethylene type unsaturated monomer repeating unit corresponding to general formula (II) which contains an acid component and an ethylene type unsaturated monomer repeating unit corresponding to general formula (III). The cyan dye-forming oleophilic polymer coupler is present in the form of a dispersed product, said polymer coupler having been dissolved in an organic solvent followed by emulsion dispersion of a gelatine aqueous solution in the presence of a surfactant. The general formulae and their substituents are described in the specification.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic emulsion is described containing in combination at least one sensitizing dye represented by formula (I) and at least one cyan coupler represented by formula (II): ##STR1## wherein all the symbols are defined in the specification. In a preferred embodiment, in addition to the sensitizing dye (I) and the cyan coupler (II), there may also be included at least one compound represented by formula (III) ##STR2## wherein all the symbols are also defined in the specification.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. Their material is comprised of a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex. This latex is comprised of a recurring unit of a cyan coupler monomer capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent represented by the general formula (I) and a recurring unit of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing an acid component represented by the general formula (II) and a recurring unit of methyl acrylate. ##STR1## The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex has excellent color forming properties and photographic material containing the coupler latex provides a cyan image having good fastness to heat and the combination of heat and humidity. A method for forming a color image utilizing the disclosed photographic material containing the novel couple of latex is also disclosed.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprised of a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex is disclosed. The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex is comprised of at least one repeating unit capable of forming a dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent represented by the general formula (Ia) and at least one repeating unit represented by the general formula (II): ##STR1## the substituents within the general formulae are disclosed within the specification. The cyan color image forming polymer coupler latex has excellent color forming properties and the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material which contains the latex provides a photograph in which the occurrence of color stain due to light is substantially prevented. A method of forming a color image using the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is also described.
