  • Publication number: 20130335259
Abstract: Disclosed is an object detection device capable of improving object detection accuracy by preventing erroneous combination detection. In this device, a detection object region correction unit (103) corrects a detection object region set by a detection object region set unit (102) on the basis of moving speed map information associated with a coordinate group in a reference image plane and the detected moving speed on each coordinate, which is detected by a radar. Thus, the detection object region can be amended by the use of the moving speed map information even when the detection object region is obtained as a result of erroneous combination. As a result, the object detection accuracy can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20130148855
Abstract: Provided is a positioning information forming device which improves object detection accuracy. This device comprises a synthesis unit (103) which synthesizes camera distance map information and radar distance map information and generates “synthesized map information”. This synthesized map information is used for object detection processing by a detection device (200). In this way it is possible to improve object detection accuracy by being able to detect objects based on information in which the camera distance map information and radar distance map information have been synthesized. In other words, by synthesizing the camera distance map information and radar distance map information, it is possible to remove unnecessary noise due to reflection from the ground and walls, etc. and therefore set object detection thresholds to low values. It is therefore possible to detect even objects the detection of which was judged to be impossible in the past.

  • Patent number: 7973793
Abstract: There is provided a scenario generation device capable of automatically generating a scenario for generating an animation of rich expression desired by a user even from a text created by the user who has no special knowledge about creation of animation. In the device, a scenario generation unit generates a scenario from a text inputted by the user, and a scenario edition unit edits a scenario with information recalled from words in the generated scenario by using external information acquired by an external information acquisition unit. That is, the scenario generation device recognizes information to be added to the text created by the user and adds information to the scenario by using external information acquired from a device owned by the user and a device existing in a communicable range. Thus, even the user has no special knowledge, the user can generate a scenario for realizing animation of expression near to the user's intention.

  • Patent number: 7812840
Abstract: There are provided a scene modifier generation device and a scene modifier generation method capable of improving expressive power of animation when automatically generating a modifier concerning a scene used in computer graphics from an inputted text sentence. A scene modifier as a modification expression concerning a scene of computer graphics is stored together with the application condition. It is possible to automatically generate a unique scene modifier appropriate for a scene according to an agentive in the scenario, a meaning of the operation, and a component of a scene modifier contained in the scenario including an adverb.

  • Publication number: 20090147009
Abstract: A video creating device for creating a video full of originality from a text. A video viewer (102) has a user information list storage section (114), a user information adding section (119), a transmitting/receiving section (111), an animation constitutional element determining section (112), and an animation creating section (116). The user information list storage section (114) stores a user information list in which a set of a keyword for describing a story and a semantic content of the keyword is associated with an animation element used for creating an animation. The user information adding section (119) adds the association of the set of the keyword and the semantic content and the animation element to the user information list in response to the user information list in response to a user operation. The transmitting/receiving section (111) receives a character string with the semantic content including the keyword and the semantic content from a video producing device (101).
