  • Patent number: 8780727
Abstract: In terminal (101-1) for communicating with base station (100-1), threshold values (103-1 to 103-2) for searching a base station that will become to be a switching candidate are updated in accordance with the number of base stations which can communicate with terminal (101-1). In the base station that will become the switching candidate, the intensity or communication quality of a signal transmitted from base station (100-1) has been received by terminal (101-1) is previously set.

  • Publication number: 20120230319
Abstract: In order to stop a receive operation without stopping the communication operation of an external communication device while suppressing the effects on the reception of signals from the communication device as much as possible, a communication device includes: a transmission unit for transmitting a first signal during a specified time interval to an external communication device provided with a stop transmission function; and a reception unit which is provided with a stop reception function for stopping reception, and receives a second signal transmitted by the external communication device. The communication device also includes a stop transmission request unit which includes in the first signal stop transmission request information for requesting the stopping of the transmission of the second signal to the external communication device; and a stop reception unit which stops the receive operation of the reception unit after the first signal including the stop transmission request information is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20060050720
Abstract: A dual communication system comprises a cellular communication terminal 1 having a plurality of communication means. The cellular communication terminal 1 is provided with a function to register the telephone number of WLAN communication means 12 to cellular phone switching network 100 and a function to register the telephone number of cellular phone communication means 11 to IP telephone switching network 200. When it is impossible to communicate with the cellular phone communication means 11 of the cellular communication terminal 1, the cellular phone switching network 100 automatically transfers any receiving call to the previously registered telephone number of the WLAN communication means 12. On the other hand, when it is impossible to communicate with the WLAN communication means 12 of the cellular communication terminal 1, the IP telephone switching network 200 automatically transfers any receiving call to the previously registered telephone number of the cellular phone communication means 11.

  • Publication number: 20050063399
Abstract: An access line connecting device is installed in a house of a subscriber of Internet connecting services using an access line, and is connected to an access line and an access point. Further, the access line connecting device separates the access to the Internet by a subscriber and the access to the Internet via the access point from a mobile terminal, thereby routing a packet and controlling the quality of service. Under the control operation of the quality of service, a communication band of one port connected to the access point and a communication band of another port are determined, thereby limiting a transferred packet.
