Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and computer-storage media for determining search query intent based on search results retrieved in response to a search query. In one embodiment, a plurality of search results that are responsive to a search query are retrieved. The plurality of search results is ranked based on relevance to the search query. Additionally, an adult-content score is assigned to one or more of the plurality of search results based on categorizing an amount of adult content within each of the one or more plurality of search results. Further, a search-query-intent score is determined based on the adult-content score of each of the one or more plurality of search results and the ranking of each of the one or more plurality of search results.
