Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for viewing and interacting with category specific data. The category specific data may be real estate data, travel data, data about independent artists, data of interest to children, auction data, personal advertisement data, puzzles and games, etc. The method comprises: creating a targeted community by registering the community members; creating an electronic card having information relating to the category specific data, the electronic card created using information received from one of the community members; storing the information from the electronic card in a category specific database; transmitting information from the category specific database to a community member in response to a display request from the community member; and storing a record of the transmitted information in a log for determining targeted demographic information. The log may also be used to determine potential commissions.

Abstract: A system and method for creating an electronic community for trading information about fantasy sports leagues is disclosed. The system and method allow users to become members of the community. Members of the community can communicate with each other. Members of the community can also each create their own personalized fantasy sports team based on available electronic trading cards for players. Players receive statistics for their team. Players can trade players on their team for new players.

Abstract: An animated e-mailable file, such as an advertisement, and a method of creating the animated e-mailable file are disclosed. The e-mailable file can be included as a non-attached, non-executable file to be played when an e-mail message including the animated e-mailable file is opened. The e-mailable animation file is created by: providing a source video file; selecting key video frames from the video frames of the source video file; selecting key audio segments from the audio track of the source video file; and synchronizing the key audio segments with the associated key video frames to produce an e-mailable animation file to be included as a non-attached, non-executable file in an e-mail message.
