  • Patent number: 7628430
Abstract: An adjustable square metal tubular strut, comprised of two square metal components, that when telescoped together and positioned horizontally at the center hinge pins on most width double entrance in-swinging doors, stops the deflection of said doors in wind load situations. The preferred embodiment of the strut is comprised of a plurality of predetermined holes for fastening the strut components together in any width configuration, and metal ā€œUā€ shape straps attached to both ends of the strut with holes to receive the hinge pins, ultimately fixing the strut in place. Located along the face of the strut are a series of threaded holes of predetermined size and location, that where applicable, will receive two threaded torque screws, with a torque lever arm on the front end and a pressure foot on the inner end, that when tightened will firm the strut to the doors.

  • Publication number: 20070157531
Abstract: A perforated tube made of plastic with a cap on one end and several different size nipples on the other end becomes a potential critter stopper. The invention attaches to condensate drains from central air-conditioning units at the exterior of the building. The invention can also be used on exit drains from swimming pool overflow piping, and on perimeter floor drain gutter systems in screened in lanais. The invention allows the water to exit normally and prohibits the critters from entering the dwelling or clogging up the piping. The invention attaches easily, by friction fit, therefore allowing it to be removed at some point to be flushed out and cleaned. The cap is friction fit also to permit removal and cleaning.

  • Publication number: 20070137116
Abstract: A plate of steel, which when cut, bent, shaped, slotted and galvanized becomes a wind-load fastener. The wind-load fastener attaches to the roller track of any new or existing residential overhead garage door. The fasteners are installed, (3) per door jamb track, top, center and bottom, using the imbedded masonry anchor bolt on the wall jamb and the smaller bolt at the track end. When installed, the wind-load is transferred from the wood jamb to the masonry wall.
