Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method of analyzing a person's goals in light of their motivations and aspirations for the purposes of identifying relevant financial goals for the person. This is achieved by a person answering questions to provide data and processing the data in a statistically meaningful manner to identify actions and activities that support the achievement of the relevant financial goals. From the actions and activities, a financial plan can be formed setting out when, where, what and who will carry out the actions to progress the financial goals.
