  • Publication number: 20230416004
Abstract: A flexible nonstick material for use in belting and/or press operations, such as for dough pressing or plastic sheet welding/cutting. The material comprises a nonstick polymer coated flexible substrate having a thickness of 15 mils or less, wherein the flexible substrate comprises a woven yarn fabric having a basket weave or a satin weave. The woven yarn fabric comprises yarns of fiberglass and/or high temperature resistant polymer materials. The nonstick coating is a fluoropolymer, a silicone rubber, and/or a thermoplastic having a sufficient heat resistance.

  • Publication number: 20020076059
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, an apparatus and method for reducing noise in a vehicle is provided. The apparatus uses an interferometer disposed in a headset to measure the sound proximate the driver's ears. An equal and opposite sound is generated and transmitted to the ear thereby reducing the level of noise audible to the driver. A microphone may be provided to make a separate measurement of the background noise to facilitate the noise reduction. A tracking device may be used to find and track the location of the driver's ears.

  • Publication number: 20020073768
Abstract: Described herein is a method for determining the presence of a leakage in a fluid system, for example, a domestic plumbing system. The method comprises measuring vibration spectra relating to fluid flow in the system and comparing the measured spectra with reference spectra to determine the presence of a leakage. A simple sensor (12) is attached to a pipe (10) for measuring the vibration and is connected to a processing unit (14) via wired connection (18). The sensor (12) may also be provided with an amplifier/buffer (16) and a battery pack (20). The sensor is used in a leakage detection system which is also described.
