  • Publication number: 20190289624
Abstract: A scheduling node (110) transmits, to a radio node (105) configured for sub-subframe operation, a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration message (210) configuring the radio node (105) for sub-subframe-based SPS. The SPS configuration message (210) comprises an identifier of the radio node (105) and indicates a pattern of sub-subframes (82) in which a resource allocation for the radio node (105) repeats. The radio node (105) receives the SPS configuration message (210) and configures the radio node (105) for sub-subframe-based SPS according to the SPS configuration message (210).

  • Publication number: 20190289618
Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method is disclosed for use in a wireless device. The method comprises transmitting uplink data to a network node. The uplink data is transmitted according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration obtained from the network node. The uplink data is transmitted without transmitting padding when no data is available for transmission. The method further comprises retransmitting the uplink data to the network node until receiving an indication to transmit new uplink data. The indication is received from the network node via a control channel.

  • Publication number: 20190238278
Abstract: A network node, a wireless device for communication with a network node and corresponding methods are provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to stop a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process associated with data to be retransmitted and retransmit the data using a procedure that is different from the stopped HARQ process.

  • Publication number: 20190075588
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method in a terminal device for a wireless communication network. The terminal device is configurable with a plurality of transmission time intervals. The method comprises; receiving a first grant message from the wireless communication network, the first grant message comprising an indication of first radio resources in which the terminal device can transmit one or more wireless messages, the first radio resources being configured according to a first transmission time interval of the plurality of transmission time intervals; determining the presence of data to transmit, the data being associated with a first logical channel; determining a maximum transmission time interval associated with the first logical channel; and, responsive to a determination that the maximum transmission time interval associated with the logical channel is less than the first transmission time interval, transmitting a scheduling request message to the wireless communication network.

  • Publication number: 20190069319
Abstract: Methods, a network node and a wireless device for implementing pre-configured grants with a hopping pattern in a wireless communication system are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method in a network node for scheduling uplink transmissions for at least one wireless device is provided. The method includes defining a set of time-frequency uplink distribution patterns utilizing preconfigured grants of time-frequency resources for the at least one wireless device. The method also includes assigning to a first wireless device of the at least one wireless device a first time-frequency uplink distribution pattern from the set.

  • Publication number: 20190036644
Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method by a wireless device is provided for reliable communication for short transmission time interval (TTI) through repetitions. The method includes receiving, from a network node, a configuration comprising a short TTI transmission schedule identifying a repetition factor. Based on the short TTI transmission schedule and the repetition factor, the wireless device searches for a plurality of repeated messages from the network node and combines the plurality of repeated messages.

  • Publication number: 20190007962
Abstract: A method in a network node (115) comprises determining (404), for one or more wireless devices (110), whether one or more or a short transmission time interval (TTI) and a reduced processing time are supported by the one or more wireless devices. The method comprises assigning (405) the one or more wireless devices to one of at least two available scheduling pools (215, 220) based on the determination of whether one or more of the short TTI and the reduced processing time are supported.
