    Abstract: An image depth control method is provided that include displaying a perceived 3-dimensional (3D) content on a display screen, recognizing a shape (or object) that faces the displayed 3D content, obtaining information about the recognized shape, determining a distance from the mobile terminal to the shape, and automatically changing a depth of the displayed 3D content based on the determined distance of the shape and the obtained information of the recognized shape.
