Abstract: A laminated glazing unit includes a first sheet of soda-lime-silica mineral glass having a thickness e1 of between 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm, a second sheet of mineral glass and a lamination interlayer, the first and second mineral glass sheets being adhesively bonded together by the lamination interlayer. The second mineral glass sheet is a sheet of soda-lime-silica mineral glass having a thickness e2 of between 0.4 and 1.1 mm, the second sheet of soda-lime-silica mineral glass being chemically toughened. A surface compressive stress of the second sheet of soda-lime-silica mineral glass is between 350 MPa and 550 MPa and a ratio R=e1/e22 is at most 20 mm?1.
