  • Patent number: 8566996
Abstract: A removable frame system (100) consists of a first end (101) and a second end (102) and is made up of at least two side frame components (103 & (107) where all said side frame components are single piece components with no adjustments or added parts. Side frame components (103 & 107) form a pivoting body capable of swinging open and closed to form a payload cavity (113) desirable to contain a payload subsystem (112) that is designed to operate a payload application device (115). There are only three components that make up the remote frame system (100) that supports the operation of the payload (112). Removable frame system (100) supports rugged operation and in the field re-configuration for a multiple of purposes. One embodiment is to be deployed in the sewers as a root cutting system that employs a motor for the payload (112) and a root cutter for the payload application device.

  • Patent number: 7306000
Abstract: A large scale cleaning plug (L) adaptable to be placed within an interior passageway (10) of a tubular system (14) includes a frame structure (208) with a first and second end (202 and 204) supporting an outer skin member (200) for directing a fluid (F) through an interior passageway formed in the skeletal frame structure (208). A middle section (300) of the frame (208) has a generally frustoconical shaped bottom (302). A rigging (236) connected to the frame (208) controllably secures the frame structure (208) in desired positions. The frame's second end (204) supports at least one nozzle assembly (220) having at least one nozzle body (222) extending from a plate (226) preventing appreciable fluid flow therethrough and permitting a desired fluid flow through an exit opening (223) of the nozzle bodies (222).

  • Patent number: 7267133
Abstract: A large scale cleaning plug (L) adaptable to be placed within an interior passageway (10) of a tubular system (14) includes a generally conically shaped element (C) having a first end (18) and an opposite second end (20). The width of the first end (18) fits within the tube (12). The width of the second end (20) may be less than the first end (18). Rigging (236) is connected to the first end (18) to secure the conical element (C). A nozzle assembly (220) is mounted with the second end of the conical element (20). The nozzle assembly (220) has a plurality of nozzle bodies (222) extending from a plate (226) preventing appreciable fluid flow through the conical element (C) and permitting a desired fluid flow through an exit opening (223) of the nozzle bodies (222).

  • Patent number: 6764604
Abstract: A separation apparatus (A) for separating solids from a slurry of liquid and solids includes a separation tank (10). An intake assembly (12) communicates with the separation tank (10) for conveying the slurry through an entrance end (14) into an inlet (16) formed in the tank (10). An outlet assembly (18) communicates with the separation tank (10) for conveying decanted liquid (20) through an outlet (22) formed in the tank (10) to an exit end (24) of the outlet assembly (18) positioned in a desired location. A pump (26) is adapted to convey the decanted liquid (20) from the separation tank (10) through the outlet assembly (18). The tank (10), intake assembly (12), and outlet assembly (18) form an airtight, compartmented system when the entrance end (14) of the intake assembly (12) and the exit end (24) of the outlet assembly (18) are sealed.

  • Patent number: 6508261
Abstract: A cleaning plug (P) adaptable to be placed within an interior passageway (10) of a tubular system (14) includes a generally conically shaped element (16) having a first end (18) and an opposite second end (20). The width (22) of the first end (18) fits within the tube (12). The width (24) of the second end (20) may be less than the first end (18). Rigging (26) is connected to the first end (18) to secure the conical element (16). A valve assembly (28) mounted with the second end (20) has a normally closed position (30) preventing appreciable fluid flow and an open position (32) permitting fluid flow (F) through the valve (28) if the flow pressure therethrough is greater than a minimum selected pressure.
