    Abstract: A simulation system analyzes a call control signal received from an electronic automatic exchange. When it is determined that the received signal is for a trunk connected to another electronic automatic exchange, the simulation system determines an address on a LAN of another simulation system from internal data. Further, the simulation system uses a socket communication function of a UNIX and transmits a signal system, kind, format, etc. of the trunk as character string data. The simulation system which has received the character string data checks the contents of the received character string data. If its contents are found to be proper, then the simulation system generates a corresponding response signal and transmits it to the electronic automatic exchange.
