Publication number: 20110005470Abstract: A first flow passage (R1) in which uncombusted gas (G1) that contains a combustible fuel is injected from a nozzle hole that is smaller than the flame quenching distance at a flow speed to thereby enable flame maintenance is combusted, and thereby enables flow of combustion gas (G2) resulting from such combustion, and a second flow passage (R2) formed about the first flow passage and enabling flow of uncombusted gas supplied through the nozzle hole are provided. According to the present invention, the combustion chamber in a heating apparatus that heats a liquid to be heated is be reduced in size, the flame in the combustion chamber can be stabilized, and energy efficiency can be improved.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 4, 2009Publication date: January 13, 2011Inventors: Soichiro Kato, Tsukasa Saitou, Toshiro Fujimori, Katsuyoshi Takahashi, Toshiyuki Suda, Yukinobu Kawaoka, Mamoru Fujii

Patent number: 6556314Abstract: A facsimile provided with a easily detachable scanner disclosed. When a button 7 provided in a panel 6 of a facsimile body F is pushed, lower a right end 10R of a release lever 10 is depressed, and the release lever 10 is turned on a pivot 10C to raise its left end 10L, thereby boosting a bottom 11 of the scanner S. In consequence thereof, the scanner S is ached from the facsimile body F.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 1999Date of Patent: April 29, 2003Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kenichi Shiraishi, Hiroshi Kawamoto, Hiroaki Takeshima, Mamoru Fujii, Akihiko Kumagai

Patent number: 5163089Abstract: Disclosed is an image data transmission apparatus which includes an image reading unit for reading the original image, and a transmission apparatus main body. The main body includes a memory for storing the image data read by the image reading unit and transmits the content of the memory. The image reading unit is detachably mounted on the transmission apparatus main body. The transmission apparatus main body is further provided with a conveying device for conveying the original in a state in which the image reading unit is mounted on the transmission apparatus main body to thereby read the original. The image reading unit may also scan the original to read an original image, in a state in which the image reading unit is dismounted from the transmission apparatus main body. Further, a sheet element made of a material of a low coefficient of friction, as opposed to the original, may be disposed at a position corresponding to the mounted state of the image reading unit on the transmission apparatus main body.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 1991Date of Patent: November 10, 1992Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Matahira Kotani, Masafumi Matsumoto, Junichiro Matsumoto, Motohiko Hayashi, Mamoru Fujii, Masafumi Yamanoue, Katsuyuki Sakai, Kouichi Mino, Naomitsu Murata, Hiroya Inagaki, Mitsunobu Kondo

Patent number: 4962526Abstract: An image data transmission apparatus, which may be used as a facsimile apparatus, includes an image data reader which is detachably connected to the main body. The reader can read image data from an original fed past the reader, or it can be detached and used to scan an original. A device exists within the apparatus, which detects the mounting or unmounting of the reader, and if it is detected to be unmounted and not being used, power will be shut off. Further, a device exists, within the apparatus, which, when the reader is detected as mounted, will print read data. Also, when the reader is detected as unmounted, read data will be stored in memory. Thus, a speedy and power efficient image data transmission apparatus has been created.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 1989Date of Patent: October 9, 1990Assignees: Nippon Telegraph, Telephone Corporation & Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Matahira Kotani, Masafumi Matsumoto, Mamoru Fujii, Motohiko Hayashi, Masayuki Hachinoda, Mitsunobu Kondo, Naomitsu Murata, Kouichi Mino

Patent number: 4854493Abstract: An apparatus, for butt-welding steel strips using a laser beam are disclosed, in which opposite ends of preceding and succeeding steel strips fed continuously are cut and the cut end edges thus formed are welded by butt welding using a laser. The cutting and butting at the time of welding are effected with one edge of the preceeding steel strips adjacent to the opposite ends of the succeeding steel strips aligned to be parallel with the center line of travel of the continuous processing line. When effecting the alignment, the preceding or succeeding steel strip is attracted by an electromagnetic chuck on a work table in the continuous processing line and is pulled by the chuck toward a reference block provided with an alignment edge parallel to the center line of travel of the processing line to bring the edge of the sheet into contact with the reference block. The alignment is done in this state. The work table is capable of being moved along the continuous processing line.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1988Date of Patent: August 8, 1989Assignee: Kawasaki Steel CorporationInventors: Mamoru Fujii, Kazuo Noda, Shoji Nagasaka, Hiroshi Tajika, Koji Ono
